Well guys, i recently purchased an htc smart phone from NRP (Chandni Chowk, Kolkata) for Rs. 7800, and m really in love wid d cell.
> Camera Quality is awesome. Superb Clarity :D
> So is d sound quality. Listening 2 songs on my htc fone is no less than listening 2 songs on an apple i-pod.
> D touchscreen is superb :)
But a few things really disappointed me...
> The fone doesnt come wid a memory card.
> No phone cover or scratch guard.
> Battery backup is not that good.

Frequently I got message from Airtel service provider that the cost of last call/message is Rs. 0.50. Thus the balance is being minimized every time, though I did not make any call or did not send any message.

dont touch this phone with a barge pole it is rubbish, had mine 6 months now and has been back twice to htc with software problems and is now waiting to go back again with a hardware problem.
Brew is rubbish too

I purchased HTC smart at INR 7400 in Kolkata. I am satisfied. I do not want wi-fi and 3G. I simply talk and receive calls and take photos.

Hi,i just got this phone about 4 wks back and am a bit dissapointed. the OS is too slow, so i downloaded opera mini. even wth opera mini cant view youtube videos; opera mini says should download the "signed version" yet the phone cant download stuffs, keeps saying "file not in supported format". it didnt come wth a manual so i downloaded the manual & saved in the SD card and then, it doesnt have pdf reader & quite a lot of other applications which exist in ordinary nokia E65. i would like to download applications that can work on this Brew OS such as pdf reader, players, quick office & view youtube. There is nothing smart abt the phone, the only thing i do well is facebook. it should be called HTC Facebook.
