The only thing that can make someone go for this phone is the battery life in 3G... and that's that's that.

Chinese site has got hold of the HTC HD3 specifications from some HTC employees. If you thought Qualcomm’s 1 Ghz Snapdragon CPU is the biggest thing for the year 2010, think again?! HTC HD3 will be powered by the Qualcomm’s 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor.
HTC HD3 Specifications
Other HTC HD3 specs that have been leaked includes:
Display: 4.5-inch display (1280 x 800 resolution)
Processor: Qualcomm’s 1.5Ghz Snapdragon
Camera: 8 MP camera with Xenon flash, front camera
Video: HD video recording (720p), 1080p video ready
Memory: 1GB RAM, 1GB ROM
Other: HDMI, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack
Capacity: 16GB internal memory (microSD card support up to 32GB)
Connectivity: 4G support, WiMAX, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi
Battery: 1800 mAH
OS: Windows Mobile 7
Considering the rapid improvement in the hardware specs that HTC is using in its devices, the HTC HD3 specs mentioned above look highly possible by the release date given.
HTC HD3 Release Date
The release date that has been included with the leaked specifications sheet of HTC HD3 is for November 2010.

I have seen and used a sample version. Very handy, easy to use.
Not for the gadget freak, who have had a couple of ouch phones,
but must say, it´s a perfect "My first touch phone", due to it´s
user friendly touch interface.

I don't get what all of you are crying. For the price you'd for this phone, the specs are great, and it's a good thing that HTC tries to break out on the low-end market. I live in Finland, and the phones here are quite expensive (at least considering my budget). Comparing HTC Smart to other phones it'll compete against, it beats (almost) them all. Samsung Corby doesn't have even3G. They don't even sell S5320 Wi-Fi here. All other phones of this price category miss either 3G or QWERTY-keyboard, which are the two biggest things I'd want from a phone of this price category. Yeah, these new Nokia's might be better overall, but I want to try something new, and in addition i haven't enjoyed Nokia's low-end touchscreen phones. If this will get good reviews, this is gonna be my no1 choice for my next phone.
