It seems that this is just a basic tuchscreen phone with pre-installed useful applications.
But there are hardly any app that are available that can be installed in this phone (BREW OS)

People DONT get decieted by the Brand's name. Unlike the other HTC devices which run on Android or Win-Mo this is BREW, there's not much applications available for this OS and the user experience is not in the good opinion. Just don't go by its price and brand, look for the OS which is the major downside of this phone. I will seldom recommend this phone to anyone.

Htc smart is nice phone but which should buy it. I cant choose whether nokia 5530 or htc touch 2 or the htc smart phone. Which should i buy it . Since the smart phone was not launch in Mumbai . So i need so help ..

M a Big hTC fan, and why not,, they have every reasone to feel pride.... belive me the SMART is also the promising phone by hTC... look at the Configration, its mind bloing...

its good looking phones. its touch screen is better than nokia 5800 and sony ericsson Aino.

Htc get smarter this phone like touch2/3g but its price so good if u used htc u will addicted nokia can lower price but not speed nokia hangs often touchscreen htc best nokia5230 similar one but poor speed htc smart only one odd BREW platform otherwise so good

Nokia 5230 is better. retails around Rs.8K is VFM. go for it

I like this phone. It holds good promise for indian markets. It hits the sub 10k range perfectly. It has a good screen. love the screen actually. u cant expect a 4 inch amoled for 9k comon...and looks cute...m sure indians will love it...HTC...3G plsss...don make the same mistake u did before...
