I have had this phone for around a month now and it seems to do the basics with no dramas, but start using google maps and it seems to freeze at times, also I have trobule with the bluetooth functions on the phone..another problem is I tried to connect the phone to my laptop last night and it didn't seem to enjoy that either...so I don't know if I just pushed the wrong option on the phone or what went wrong, but if anyone knows how to get the phone to send photos to a laptop (ie what function to push when it registers the data cables) that would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone else have the above problems, and if so do you have any practical solutions to give me assistance?
Overall the phone does the job, but I think when it does come time to change phones again I might go for another Nokia or LG.

Crap Phone DONT GO FOR IT...
I have been using this phone for last three months and there are a hell lot of problems and missing features.
- Camera Quality is VERY POOR.
- No Bluetooth File Transfer ( Transfer Apps Don't Work.)
- Android 1.6 ( No upgrade to 2.0 or above)
- Screen Resolution too low.
- Sreen on pressing just some hard gets Damaged.
Just Crap Phone , Either go for Android 2.0 or above phones if interested in Android .

i had this phone for 4 mos now... & i love it! u just have to adjust the settings & the sensitivity of the touch screen. & u just have to be familiar with navigating if ur a first time user! i'll give this a 9 out of 10.

toto, 30 Aug 2010Tattoo does not come with a stylus like most touchscreens, ... moreYour right, no stylus but they can be bought as a phone charm for as little as 60p.
It still works fine though, it is just easier to use your nail.

confused, 30 Aug 2010Hi guys,
Which is better nokia 5800 xpress or htc tattoo? ... moreHi N7Dr,
About the HTC Tattoo and 5800, my dad has the 5800 and i have the HTC Tattoo, personally, i really think the tattoo is a much better product all round, faster more reliable, better build etc. BUT you cannot update to 2.2 android os, which is a BIG let down. The plus side of the tattoo is 1000's of free apps. About the airtime, you can turn off locational services and put it onto airplane mode which kills all connections, so no worries there. Personally the tattoo is way better than the 5800. I have seen both.
Let me know what you think.

Hi guys,
Which is better nokia 5800 xpress or htc tattoo? Please give reasons, your assistance will be appreciated.
I was advised that tattoo is always on the net downloading updates and therefore uses alot of airtime, is this true? is it possible to prevent this?

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2010As in previous post a guy was very disappointed in tattoo t... moreYes tatto phone is good its worth
very fast operating system over all good performance
One thing which you dont like ( you can not transfer the files directly from your tatto to another mobile or vise versa ) you need to copy the file on PC and than other mobile can copy from the PC )its not in tatto but every anroid phone is not having the feature to tranfer the files directly from one phone to another
