Hi people, I am from India the phone Tattoo was launched just 4 days back here and I got it and man this phone is excellent. In India the cost is Rs 17,900 with warranty.
The phone has all the features. The screen is a resistive touch screen but the response time is too quick u wont feel the difference. The apps and tools are good and start quickly.
There is one minor flaw in the cell its about bluetooth which cannot be paired to any other device except a bluetooth handset. If there is somebody who can help me i will be greatfull

why this pone voting is of very low rating. Except 2.8 inch screen there is not much negative about it considering it pretty cheap than other phones with similar functionality?

It has one major flaw. One cannot select multiple emails and apply a function to it. You have to open each one, one by one, to delete etc.

It is an ulimate device to use. The device is completing all multimedia requirements and the strangest thing of all is that HTC device is having FM too.
The phone color change option is also appealing with fast inernet browsing speed.

I've seen a couple of comments, as I always do, about this thing be inferior to such and such phone, I cant remember which ones.
What people have to remember here is this is a BUDGET android smartphone. Android, being the newfangled thing of the moment (and therefore rather desirable) is going to be expensive, thats an end of story. But look at all the other Android rivals? all nearing or over £400. This thing can be found for £260 sim free if you look around. Yes its not resistive, however in comparing my tattoo to a Hero i found the tattoo far easier to use. Personal preference on that one really. This phone is the epitome of social networking integration, and of customisability. It may not be quite as powerful as your WinMo superphone, and may not have quite as dazzling a screen as the previous generation androids. however, this is meant to make the unique power and customisability of Android available to people who arent flushed with masses of cash. And I think it's going to do that very well.

I had never really considered an HTC, but happened to be in a Vodafone store in London and got to play with what I learned after was a Tattoo. I have to say, very very impressed! Lovely phone to hold - a bit small for my hands, so I would never buy one, but for ladies or small fingered guys (young people!) it is perfect. The interface is way better than any other Android device I have used. The photo viewer is better than anything I have seen before. Is this unique to HTC? It has a 3.5mm jack and other 'essentials' too. If it wasn't for the small size, (I find it hard to reach the buttons), I would consider it against the iPhone. (After all, it does more out of the box!)

This is a cool phone. Maybe SE and Motorola can go and take some lessons from HTC, of how to build a phone that people actually will buy.
