I really like using the phone.I think that every one should first read the manual and it will be very user friendly.
People remember this phone is not like any other Nokia or Ericsson as it has Windows mobile and takes a bit of getting used to! Overall I am very pleased with my purchase!
Surfing the net is quite fast as well, no problems. Also clear device memory and rather save on storage card

I did what you told me to do, but it wont change the language, and i,ve been reading the manual in English and it says that when you change the region wont change the language, I think the Operative systme needs to be changed to one in English, it's just like a computer and windows, if you want to change language you have to change windows, I guess is the same, stupid i think. thanks anyways Rajik( does anyone knows any software to change the language?) thanks in advance

Hi
I'm currently considering this phone. I'm a student, probably gonna use this for calendars and regular calling and text messaging. If i use a regular monthly plan, with no internet usage, i can only check my email using the provided MS Outlook when i use wireless?
Thanks

to change language... go to
Start -> Settings (2nd from bottom)
System tab (middle tab at the bottom)
Regional Setting (with a icon of earth)
at the first tab (Region) there is a drop down box at the top side. search your language there. then it will tell you to do a restart.
after that you should be fine..
good luck

I traded in my HTC Touch phone for a Nokia N95-3 just about 2 weeks ago. I am VERY happy I did!
Users Beware. The "Touch-Flow" app is more a gimmick than anything else. Problems with this Phone:
1. Inadequate (puny) 201Mhz processor. The phone constantly chokes, and becomes unbearably slow. In order to handle Windows Mobile 6 adequately, you need at least a 400Mhz Proc. This feels like trying to run windows XP with a Pentium 2 Processor.
2. Slow Memory. I had the 128/256 version, and it was still very slow. The menus took a few seconds to open. Closing and opening windows became a test of patience. I constantly had to manage the taskbar to close all apps before opening new ones.
3. Unresponsive touch screen. You constantly have to tap 2-3 times an item in order to activate it. The same when you want to hold the tap to open the menu. It usually takes a couple of attempts to get it to work.
4. The ugliest, most useless "2MP" camera in the market. Yup. I've seen plain VGA phone cameras with much better quality than this. The VGA camera on my Palm Treo 680 was WAY better than this one. This camera has a Horrible Response/refresh rate. This translates into terribly blurry photos. In order to snap a half-decent picture, you have to get the subject to stand perfectly still (the slightest shake of your hand can also ruin the picture) Totally useless for taking photos of anything moving. Even worse in low light conditions. The CIF video recording is so bad, its not even worth mentioning as a feature.
5. Horrible Java game compatibility / Performance. Multimedia/Gamer powerusers beware! I installed all kinds of java games on this phone. I can easily say that 80% of the games I tested (about 150+ games) did not work. The phone gave me no error warning, just a blank screen. Those few games that did work, were completely unplayable because of the lack of hardware buttons (the soft keyboard did not work) Performance was also very slow in games with 3D graphics.
6. Slow performance with Pocket PC games and Apps. Tried many pocket PC games too. Only the older games seemed to perform ok. Newer games would not even load, or would be completely unplayable due to slow framerate.
Other were also affected by the lack of hardware buttons (only 1 button is available, since the other 2 buttons are for phone answeing/hanging up, and they usually kick you out of the game/app you are using)
7. Poor performance in Emulation software. One of the perks of having a Windows Mobile device, is the Plethora software available. Among them are the famous emulation apps, which allow you to run other systems' games and apps using your hardware, hence "emulating" the other systems' hardware through the use of software. I tried a simple NES (nintendo) emulator, and I was really dissapointed at how slow it performed. The framerates were down to around 10-15 (from the nativ 30) totally affecting gameplay, and producing choppy, skipping sound. The NES emulator is one of "lightest" emulators available. Trying more advanced systems like the SNES, or Sega Genesis, resulted in pityfull and unacceptable performance.
8. Opening medium sized / Large Word and excel documents brought the phone to its knees with sluggish, choppy scrolling, and slow response times.
9. Handwriting recognition is very limited, since you have to use a specific way of writing in order to get the phone to recognize your letter (it has a couple of predetermined options for each letter), but it doesn't feature a programmable / customization option to adapt it to your unique writing style. You have to adapt to the phones'.
Overall, this phone feels very sluggish, unresponsive and limited. Most of the features are merely aestethics. If you value raw functionality, usability, promptness and convenience over simple "prettiness"

I had two of these phone in a week. The first one the only way I could hear an incoming call or make a call was to turn the speaker phone on. The second one ,once it went into the sleep mode the only way to awaken it was to do a soft reset. I'm through with this phone, sented it back.

The battery life is reflected on how you use your phone. It is true that it can last up to 200 hours on standby. If you play with games/music/heavy internet user, the lifespan become less. I use Touch for almost a year, normal usage (lite games/music, calls and SMS) it can last up to 4 days, which is good enough for me.

JP the batery life in normal use is 2 nights. if u talk very much at the phone, u have to charge it every 2 days so one night yes the next one no, but after again u have to charge, i repeat this is for "extreme" use. For normal use is 2 nights and 2 days without charging.
