Have been using the htc touch for 2 months now gr8 phone cool interface and good looks
the only glich is that its not compatible with isync and the active sync is not compatible with a mac,,,,,,,

I am planning to buy this one from rogers,
Can i know how is it working, is this phone supports GPS or not, is it convenient ?, every thing is there expect GPS receiver i think, can some one tell is this possible to connect GPS, thanks

here is the solution of ur problem.
1. Go to
Start->Programs->Windows Live->then go to Options-> Then click Switch Users
After that u will seesign in to windows live then tab on in and sign in with ur user name and password that's it
2. Tell me where u have seen talk time
3. Go to Start->Messaging->SMS/MMS->Menu->GoTo->Folders->then u will see all send items, inbox , outbox,drafts etc etc. tab on sent items that's it

Hi "joeyzizul78". Before deleting these files first go and see that the files u see in MY VIDEO/PICTURES are also in Windows folder. these files are used by different applications so the same files also persist in Window folder. when u deleted these files from MY VIDEO/PICTURES folder they get deleted from this folder but does not appear in to Windows folder coz Window folder already has these files that are used by application and cannot be deleted...........

its the best phone i have ever seen. why people r sayin that the battery backup is not good and poor processor but i haven't seen this that its battery backup is not good and processor is slow. i have more then 70 applications on my phone and 2 movies and about 200 mp3s and 40 videos songs. my phone doesn't become slow enen after that 1 have 30 mb phone memory left.tell me does nokia have all the qualities that this phone acquire? htc touch camera quality is much good then nokia 3.2 mega pix camera i have compared. i think u ppl don't know how to use it properly,.

Fady, the same problems i have been facing.
My htc also died on the same style.
Have u got the set repaired. Mine is with the service centre since three weeks. Thet havnt sorted out the problem yet.

I have HTC touch!but my problem appear when I want to delete some picture and video that preisntalled in the phone to free some memory.The files that I deleted actualy not deleted,its just deleted in MY VIDEO/PICTURES folder than all the file that I delete appear in WINDOWS FOLDER and now cannot be delete anymore.....the result is my phone memory still the same like before.....who can help me? please!!!

I have this phone for about a week now, and it seems to be a great phone, however, I have some questions that I hope one of you will be able to answer:
1 A friend signed in on the messenger on my HTC, and now I cannot log in, only my friend can, how can I switch users on the messenger on the HTC?
2 I found one place on the phone where you can see your talk time, but, how can I reset the talk time? (I need to keep track of how much I talk a month)
3 Is there a place where you can check how many messages you have sent?
I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me.

hi i fund a solution for the rogers conectivety issue being detected and charged simply go to setting and go to connections thenclick u will see below the page advanced click on it then select networks then drop down and follow ... i hope this would help

Design is good but poor battery backup slow processor and low memmory are disadvantages

Just to share my experience before my HTC died:
1) Started with autoconnecting to EDGE/GPRS without any reason. Kept on getting error message cannot connect to GPRS as I have yet to key in my phone pin no.
2) Started hanging for no apparent reason but can soft reset the unit.
3) Started hanging and unit started heating up for no apparent reason
4) Can no longer open the unit. At this point of time, check your unit as mine started to really heat up...quickly took out my battery.
So guys, if you are facing the same problems as above, your motherboard could be dying. According to my seller, there are 3 incidence's so far.

Hi JS, faced the same prob too....those who read my post previously know that I am facing huge amount of probs with my unit. IT finally died 3 weeks back. Send back to my distri and diagnosed to have a faulty motherboard. They have since replaced it and I started using my unit (although I hoped that they would give me a replacement unit) a week ago...Bad news though, started 'hanging' on me again a couple days back.
Looked like the HTC when a buyer uses it for the first couple of months is smooth but as time passes, it'll begin to give probs. Unfortunately for me in Malaysia, we are not so blessed to be able to just return the unit with money back guarantee....will observe the unit for a few more months

One BIG problem. Texting. The screen is too small for txting using your fingers. You will have to use the stylus and poke dots. To me that is a BIG problem.

I have the htc touch for few months already. It always shut down itself when I playing on it. Sometimes, it cannot be on. Anyone face same problem? Anyone know how to solve this problem?
