I like this phone, however it has one very stupid problem that is really annoying me. When i look at the phone, there is no way for me to know if it is turned on or off. There is no flashing light to let you know, nothing. Is that a problem with my phone only, or with all the phones of this model. Thanks for any help.

i dont know what happened but i cannot change ... moreIf your phone came with the English version of Windows (English ROM) you may want to format it back. But you will loose all your data on your phone. SIM and Memory card data will be safe. Here are the steps.
1.) Switch on the phone and let it boot to the home screen.
2.) Now hold down the volume down key and press the reset button (on the back under the cover) to reset the phone. Keep the volume down button pressed.
A meesage will appear to format the phone. Proceed with intructions. Your language will be reset to ENGLISH (For English WWW ROM)

PLS HELP!!!
i dont know what happened but i cannot change my phone language to english.it is chinese when i bought it but the saleslady change it to english and not it is chinese again...HOW COULD I CHANGE IT TO ENGLISH?

My htc touch 3g is running spb mobile shell and spb keyboard and has been 100% reliable, no quirks, glitches or anything in the 3months ive been using it. i store non essential apps on its memory card to keep it light but never have to soft reset because of problems like freezing or hanging. i use a 2grand motorola handheld all day at work n they run winmo and it needs soft resetting frequently! The camera and speaker on the htc are weak and i dont think much of the call quality generally but all other aspects of it are pretty strong. ive got a proporta screen protector and a black silicone case which means it is robust and stealthy and theres a good selection of freeware out there for it. I really recommend mobile shell though, a newer version than mine has just been released and I bet that is awesome. At the price as a very compact pda/phone with built in gps and 3g/wifi the touch 3g ticks my boxes.

Bought this phone on Friday 18/12/09 and by 21/12/09 the usb port of the phone where you would connect the charger and where you would connect it to the pc is now destroyed and I barely can get a charge.Sometimes when I do get a charge I have to turn off the phone and if I dont it charges only to two bars . Can any body tell me where can I get it fixed. The other problem I am having is the the Bluetooth is not working, when I try to access it ,a message comes up telling me that something is wrong with the Bluetooth hardware.My wifi
feature is not working either anybody can give me any suggestions on the problems I'm facing I would be very grateful. By the way the charger that connects the phone to the wall was destroyed, don't ask what happen. I'll be awaiting any response that will be able assist me thank you and God bless.

I want to buy a HTC touch 3G...but the manager of the market,asked me for 30$ extra just for downloading windows 6.1 on the phone...I don't know if windows is installed on the phone defaultly or not?

Anyone who doens't consider windows as OS for their PC, they should NEVER EVER think about windows mobile.
There are many other mobile OS out in the market my friend.

Is your phone hanging
1. for any of the default application which comes along or
2. it is hanging when you are running any 3rd party software ONLY.
If it is in the first case, then go and check it up in service station.
And if it is the second case, then it is not fair to curse the phone my friend.
