    I'm excited. I had the Touch for a while and loved it, just wished it had a few extras (better camera, better Processor, maybe add GPS). And what do you know, HTC heard my crys! So far this is what I'll sell my unlocked iPhone for.

          I personally like the fact that it doesn't have a keypad. Keypads make PDAs "fat" (by about 4 mm) and that's a big turn off for me.

            “Don't forget about the basic function of PDA...”

            I think the basic function of a PDA is back to Palm Pilot idea, a simple small device to store address book and taking short notes. Not the idea of nowadays PDA that combines phone with mini computer and capable of handling communication. Not to mention taking picture and playing music, radio, mp3, GPS, etc for entertainment. This is way off the idea of basic function of PDA.

            Lets forget about the bit and byte, to my opinion the decision to buy mostly base on: 1. Design, 2. Features, 3. Processor, 4. Price, 5. Peer group, 6. Promotion. Select your priority but those elements driving you to the conclusion.

            Back to the topic, I guess that you prefer HP over HTC, which is fine. Other may likes HTC over HP that also fine. Never look down to one product while over promote other. Ha ha ha …..

              Touchflo could be useful for Tablet PC, devices with larger than 10 inches screen, the smaller are the screens the less useful the technology is because the fingers are too tick to select small user interface details.

                htc knows just how to give what i refer to as a ''quench for outstsanding technology and efficiency''. HTC TOUCH really tpuched my heart of technology. it is what we've been waiting for, it's a MUST GET.

                  Yes. You are right. But please do not forget about one thing. Both HP's has keypad and keypad really helps while you need a write an email or sms or anything that need a typing a lot... and touchflo... I don't think it will helps you...

                  Don't forget about the basic function of PDA...

                      In Sweden you can start ordering the phone now from Webhallen.

                      http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=82315

                      Not clear when they will be able to deliver it though.

                      However this seems like the best phone on the market right now when you take everything such as available features, size and weight into account.

                        HTC you just blow away this misunderstanding called iPhone... I will get this product as soon as it is on the market. It has everything I need + a long battery life. HTC the only thing I can say is Thank You.

                          @ ex HTC user

                          "tell me a reason why should I buy this product ?"

                          You probably shouldn't, but if you still don't get it and think that this phone is the same as HP 910/610, here's what sets it apart:

                          Size - HTC Touch Cruise is slimmer, narrower, shorter (smaller) than both HP products;

                          Weight - HTC Touch Cruise is lighter than both HP products;

                          Screen size - HTC's screen is, in fact, larger than that of HP 910;

                          TouchFLO™ touch-screen technology that allows finger-touch scrolling, panning, and photo zooming;

                          Innovative 3D Touch Cube interface for quick and easy navigation;

                          Live HTC Home™ featuring time and weather display, quick launcher, and one-touch ring tone settings;

                          Design - although everyone has different tastes, HTC looks a lot better than HP imho.

                          CPU - HP has a faster CPU, but all other benefits really outweight it.

                          With everything else being the same compared to HP and other similar devices, HTC Touch Cruise is clearly better.

                          Looking forward to snatch this baby boy as soon as it's out.

                          Cheers!

                              on mobilereview.com there is nice review of this phone. i read there that this device is SDIO compatible. is that possible considering it supports only microSD?
                              please give your oppinions!

                                It has a nice specs, i hope its not buggy.
                                One thing i hate on this phone is the miniUSB earphone socket HTC keep on using it, why not use standard socket instead like the rest of PDA Phone. The design also is not that impressive with that oversize trackwheel, why not be like HTC P3350 trackwheel. HTC seems to be changing what is suppose to be good looking phone and keeping what is suppose to be a standard earphone socket.

                                But on the brighter side the hardware specs are really good and thats what most PDA users wants.

                                  Man i dont no what others have an opinion of this phone, but this one is definatley lined above htc touch. My freind has htc touch n the speed of the internet and gprs is way beyond nokia's and Motorola's with just 200Mhz than Imagine this one has 400Mhz. Mind you that this is the only third phone of htc with an fm option. Htc is taking each n every review seriously and successfully manufactures a phone according the market surveys and needs. And please dont even compare it with iphone.....b coz everything that glitters is not Gold.

                                    This could be the most complete phone of it's time.

                                        @Stickerlifter

                                        Pls go and check the HP 910 series or HP 610 series... check all the features... they are all the same...

                                        I did not say this gadget is bad... I said that no killer feature (attractive feature) attached to this gadget which make people will have feeling that they has to buy or have it... thus HTC should do something better... like put VGA screen into this device... or big ROM to store more files beside big RAM which currently already 128MB...

                                        just imagine that I am using other brand... and you just act like you were a marketing team or sales team for HTC... tell me a reason why should I buy this product ?... since the feature almost the same with other brands... except if the price were lower than others...
