Can anyone say whether or not you can use the keyboard/programs in landscape mode like you can with the Diamond2? On that note, can you install the Diamond2 keyboard (the letters pop up when you push) on this?

Hi guys,
Whenever I attempt to charge my phone, it will take longer then the 2-3 hours recommended.
I always had to do a soft reset to solve this problem.
Any idea ?

Excellent phone. No complaints whatsoever. Just one question: does anyone know a way to change navigation software? I bought mine in Singapore and it came with maps for Asian cities but I need Australian maps. Can it be changed somehow?

user, 03 Apr 2009I got this pda 2 weeks ago, found out that when my pda is f... moreMany HTC/another PDA confused while charging. Don't look at the green indicator, when it reach 100percents that's not actually fully charged. Just look at the icon top of the home screen, when the cable icon turn into battery icon with full bar. That's really mean your PDA was fully charged...

I like the phone very much, this is the 1st time i change to something beside nokia. It was wonderful, also quite light weight, just that i think my batt actually keep dropping very easily, not sure why and i don like camera to be 3.2 kinda small pixel to me. Beside that overall it was working well. I love my HTC phone now...

I wonder... is footprints really useful? HTC failed to include it in all the most recent phones...

THIS is a great nav phone. so if you look at it as a phone with navigation you get what you want and its great for that.has a better battery life then any other nav phone i used before just love it.
really who listens too radio now a days when there is mp3. would at least suggest a flash and auto focus too make footprints a greater experience. but then again i never take a lot of pictures at night with a phone if i want a good picture. (and i carry a surefire flashlight in case i need to light a object :P). and videocalling is not necessary on a NAV phone.

I have this same problem with the footprints, when i press the red button it sometimes starts footprints, not a software problem but its one piece of the phone for 2 buttons next to eachother.. so when a application is running slow and you want to go to today, you open footprints and the goes even slower...
But for everything else, this is a really good smartphone, many features, touch flo works really nice, camera less because it has no auto focus or flash, but i dont need it, when your outside and the weather is good, the pictures are also nice!
Battery is really good, better than my prevouis phone, the nokia 5800

I have used Cruise 09 now for a week. Other Htc phones have been left on the table. Cruise 09 is enjoyable to use and specially in a car. Navipanel´s menu directs to different functions. My Bluetooht hands free starts also, when connecting to the car stand, and stops when taking it off.
I wish the display would be VGA and radio inside.
I love this phone and use it every day.

very disappointed. bot it for abt 3 days. discovered that there is no autofocus, macro for the camera; no secondary camera for video call; no fm radio receiver. i was a touch cruise (2nd generation) user, this phone not fit to have the name of touch cruise 09, very misleading. i fell into the trap.

Camera has not auto focus. This is a big minus.
Does any company make anymore a phone, where is camera without auto focus? In this case Cruise 2 is like two year´s old Htc phones.
Radio is also lacking.
The name is wrong and misleading. The first Cruise is much more better than this one. Htc should have given an other name.

I think that Footprints sound interesting, but it will certainly not be a feature I use often. So I want to know if I can re-assign the button to another program. Has anyone tried this? Can this be done?
