user, 03 Apr 2009i got this pda 2 weeks ago. i found out after charging, the... moreI faced the same problem. I think the main reason is that I have installed most of the SPB software. I guess these software conflict with the device software. I tried to reset to factory default and charge. It can be fully charged from red to green now (around 3 hours). Or you can try to soft reset the device if you feel the device is cool when charged. It will be turned to green light immediately after boot up. You can try. Hope I can help.

1.How it works with 3G without frontal camera?
2. How many messages does it keep?
3. How much is the extrenal memory?

Got this nice gps focused phone on 25-Mac-09 notice it is heating up a bit on first day use. Full charge on second day, still heating up and battery drain so fast. over night without using it from full charge next morning only one bar left. Sent it to htc services. They work on it till today. Owner of dopod 838 pro and touch first edition, so far very sturdy and robust device but not this one...or just my bad luck this time.

seems nice phone to carry with ya but:
1. I am unable to share pics. via bluetooth on this phone. Does anybody have any F.. idea to this??
2. Footprints, sounds and works nice but i think its a trap for users to automatically go online/data connection while the device is using GPS to locate you and save to the pic. taken!
impressive technology! all i can say.

you should go and change your device since its heating up, i think its a problem with the battery, i got this last week and i don't have such a problem

I got this phone about a week ago and let me tell you something its very nice device if you like windows mobile, i have used so many high end device in past six months and this is one of the best i have used. i was not fan of windows mobile until i start using HTC,

Most htc phones don't come with 3.5... moreits not sad actually.... they just want to have their own jack for their own earpiece, thats all! in addition to that, if something goes wrong with earpiece then that would mean buying only from them which will help in profits rather than u going to another company to an earpiece..... DDDDUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!!!

nick, 11 Feb 2009Another sad story for HTC...still no 3.5mm jackI agree with you Nick. Most htc phones don't come with 3.5 head phone jack which is universal on almost all phones out there. It's a big mistake on htc's part. I purchased three htc devices. htc p3600, htc sprint mogul and finally an htc advantage. Only the htc advantage came with 3.5 headphone jack. Truly sad!!

Doesn't look a promising device from HTC, known for its innovation and technology. I would rather go for Touch Diamond 2 or Touch HD.

Vincent, 19 Feb 20093g phone but not have front camera. :{yes, it has, at least the old Cruise has, I and basically it is the same phone with faster processor.
