I have this phone for a week (six days actually) and I can say it's so much better than any other Windows Phone I have ever used (and I have used quite a few). The battery is not as dreadfull as people say, the screen is bright and very responsive. The HSDPA speed is OK too.
The only worry I have is that everytime I use this phone as a modem for my laptop, it heats up quite more than I expect it too.
Otherwise it's probably the best windows phone in the market today.

Great design & nice sleek phone. But very poor battery life & the Touch screen is sluggish. The software/user interface needs huge improvement.
But I believe this will be a winner & star for HTC.

I love the look of this phone and really fancy getting one. I almost purchased it today but when I mentioned I was going to put a 3 UK network sim in I was told it wouldn't be compatble? Can anyone confirm or deny this? 3 cannot confirm if it will be compatible with all their services or not as they haven't checked the spec/tested it yet.

I just got the HTC Diamond today via UK carrier Orange and I must say it is'nt a very good phone, the loud speaker is'nt so loud, the ringer is'nt loud, and also when you make a call for example to your voicemail you need to listen to the automated message first then press 1 etc etc well after a few seconds the screen goes black and to resolve this to press for the keyboard you have press the power button so that is a pain, texting on the on screen is easy and quick and no problems their another thing is you cannot charge your phone and use the supplied headset at the same time as there is only one port and both charger and headset need to use to this, so a way around it get a bluetooth headset, I would actually send the phone back to Orange as you have 14 days to change your mind but there really is'nt another phone I really like, am using a nokia E90 which apart from the weight is brillant
