Anonymous, 31 May 2008I did pre-order 2 of this phone. Just tried out the phone .... moreI had similair problem with the Cruise version of HTC. The screen was not responding fast enough and it was frustrating. So, I hardly use the phone and finally sell it. Now you telling me the HTC Diamond have the same problem?

At devicewire.co.uk is for preorder. They do not have it yet. I hope this one is okay and not like the other HTC Cruise. I had the Cruise but did not like it.

how is the video playback quality?is it slow as HTC touch cruise?

it comes with headset..it is just not mentioned in the specification

I have got i-phone and HTC..well, i-phone can be used as a secondary phone but not as a primary one. It lacks simple functions and options like copy/paste.
If you need to assign a ringtone you cant. You will have to download each and everything first defore using it.
Needs to be updated regularly.
Cannot use the bluetooth for send or recieve files.
I only use it for games.

i love everything about htc diamond except that its too girly :S

I did pre-order 2 of this phone. Just tried out the phone ... not impressed at all! The touch is slow & not even half as sensitive nor acccurate as the Apple iphone. The call sound quality is only average & the speaker phone is extremely bad & way too quiet even at maximum setting!
I did download the news but since the speaker volume so low & the sound quality so bad; all I could do was watching the news without being able to hear the sound!!!
Thumbs down for this Touch Diamond .... I did not buy it!!!

iGsm, 30 May 2008buy it straight ahead! The quality of htc is excellent.. thanks for the idea!i'm thinking of buying iphone or htc dimond.but iguess i'll go with htc....it's available in hongkong but only with csl network.iphone will be available in 3(hitchison)

Toooo bad,
HTC is launching with Airtel in India that tooo and EDGE version i.e. without an 3g Version...

Well Taiwan are getting their very own HTC Touch Diamond obviously a different version seeing as it is called the HTC P3702 and not the HTC Touch Diamond, they both have the same features of course and user interface called the Touchflo 3D, the only difference between the HTC Touch Diamond and the HTC P3702 Victor is the casing design, the back end is clearly different.

seems to be wayy better than i phone...at least we can use the bluetooth for purposes other than listening to music.But i guess it will be high priced.
