Or in the same page (System) you'll find another icon named "managed program" in this you can delete the programs you installed on you own.
    Enjoy HTC is great!

Its a pretty good phone. An operational manual would be handy upon purchase with the quick start guide. I noticed that when you don't use it for a while (like charging over night) the phone goes into a "sleep mode". I haven't figured out how to "wake" it up yet without having to pop the battery in and out.

ive been reading the posts and people have been saying that you cant update the ROM if your on orange, what if you got the phone on a contract off tmobile? does the same problem still exist ? because if i cant update the rom on this then i might as well go for the omnia!

Can someone who is using this phone tell me how much internet bandwith does he use per month?how much MB aprox.?

I have no idea which mobile internet package to take.I would mostly just surf and go on MSN.

2.yes,pro is much faster and more responsive(never lags) because it has more ram.
3.Probably the same deal as in Europe, you just need the new ROM version.

I have read a lot of comments about the Diamond and the touch pro . a lot of people seem to say that the touch screen interface on the diamond is kind of slow or un responsive and HTC has improved on this with the touch pro. I wanted to know.
                      1. is the diamond slow or un-responsive
                      2. If it is, Did HTC improved on this with the touch pro
                      3. Also did they improve on this with the american version of the diamond.
I would like to purchase the diamond because I have no use for the keyboard. However if the performance is better I will deal with the bulkiness of the keyboard.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2008it says 192 ROM, nothing about its "Hard Disk""Harddisk" per say is 4 gb internal memory... and touch flo comes with the official rom update as far as I know... I really dont know how it works with the O2 diamonds.

P.S. Great phone in every aspect (except the battery, 900mAh is really not much, but I guess it s a compromise with the design itself)

This is my first touch screen mobile and this is also the first time I have a mobile without Nokia brand.
Honestly, first time using the phone, I found it difficult to operate. Maybe because I was not familiar with the touch screen feature. Then my friend compared it with the iphone 3G that he has, this application is slightly warmer than iphone and of course as everybody mentions, a poor battery performance. Well, nothing to be worried about. The bottom line, when it gets warm and warmer it doesn't make a noise sound just like my laptop :))
For the battery, I just bought an extra battery with more ampere.

At least, I am pretty happy that I can make my friend want to exchange his iphone that has no real operational keys with my HTC diamond.

I like the scrolling wheel that it has (feels like operating ipod). Unfortunately the function is very limited. But still it gives an alternative when I gets tired with the touch flo.

Compared with htc diamond pro, this phone is much slimmer than the new one.

Overall I am satisfied with this phone.

As a owner of the HTC Touch Diamond I was very excited to have been able to change to this from my previous Nokia N95 phone. However after first receiving it and taking it home. The first thing I noticed which was quite annoying was how slow this phone responded. The processor simply cannot handle the OS it is running. Secondly after a week, I got really annoyed by the phone in two main ways. The first is the difficulty of adding/deleting songs and photos in the phone. Last but not least, the battery life on this phone is just appauling. I would spend a day out leaving home at about 10 in the morning. Coming dinner time after a day of calling up friends to meet up, the phone would be on the brink of shutting down due to lack of battery. I dont change phones very often, maybe one each 2-3 months. However i have to say that the HTC Touch Diamond is the worst phone I have used to date.
