Got the diamond in US with ATT great phone Love it except no 3g hear with this phone their internet like the iphone is so slow I have to go back to the cruise untill this is taken care of.But I heard if you on verizon 3g works. So if you have veizon this phone beats the new iphone hands down yes I have the new iphone too.Push mail and 3g big deal so all you apple lovers out their video call me oh you cant so navagate to me oh cell service is down you cant ha listen to sirius radio on your phone(streaming) oh you cant give me a break with this apple stuff. back to reality if you have ATT and live in Los Angeles dont expect fast internet service other wise its a great phone one other shortcoming whats with 4gig no micro card slot come on HTC give us a break

If you don't mind the SLOW respond and the terrible battery life..this might be a a beautiful and wonderful phone with a WOW factor when you take it out from your pocket!

      Like--
      The beautiful interface
The RSS reader is damn fast.
      The touch interface.
      The foam factor.
Doesn't feel like a windows mobile.

      Dislike--
      Battery sucks.
      Too damn slow..
left too much finger print after even touching.
      camera
Icons too small for any decent finger except a child.
      Is a window phone!

VERDICT: I don mind the battery life and all that negative side of this phone. if only this is a bit faster respond time I WILL think this is the best window mobile up to date!

sorry i sold mine already less then a week!

You'd be suprised how many people find these things important...

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2008I've switched to the HTC from a N95 and actually I think I ... moreyour comparing a 5 MP camera with a CZ to the HTC with a less sizable camera with less MP.

are you kidding? of course the quality isnt going to be as great. and if your constantly stabbing the screen ofcourse it will need repairing.

stop complaining and find something better to do then wasting time complaining about phones

In the start, i thought the phone worked a bit strange, simply cause before this phone i always had nokia's

but besides the low battery life, i must say that this phone is really brilliant

As far as the N82, it has a dedicated music player - I have that as well and if you HAVE TO CARRY A £500 phone with an iPod as well - its totally ludicrous!

So, dont be a ****head and stop acting like a geek backing a piece of junk.

Wei Wen, 24 Jul 2008done it thanks... dont compare a series 60 to a windows mobile... every1 always complains about the speed, which if you know what ur doing.. e.g. its windows so like ur pc the more applications u got runnin the slower it will be duh! as for the dude with the battery problems this fone, in fact a lot n95, n82 ARE NOT ipods.. the battery goes flat pretty quick...u need a w810i if u want an ipod/fone! As for u and ur rush hour... no fones aren't meant to be handbags lol, buy a nokia 3330 and listen to them ringtones lmao! :D

I've switched to the HTC from a N95 and actually I think I prefer the Nokia. The HTC's dialing and contacts are quite complicated and the camera really sux if you are used to the Carl Zeiss one in the N95. Furthermore, the touchscreen responce time is quite long (compared to an Iphone for instance) and might get you a bit nervous. Otherwise...it's a good phone yes.

Purchase at your OWN risk. Try it out first please. It's fun to play with but a bit horrible to live with - HONESTLY!

OPINION FOR THE TRUE LONDONER - LOOK HERE!

I was pretty lucky! I had this phone 2 days..looks stunning, but thats NOT the point. I travel on the London Underground from Hampstead to Waterloo which takes roughly 40 mins, so I thought I'd use the Diamond as my iPod. Well, those 40 minutes, 3x10 min. convo's at work and another 40 mins back - BATTERY FLAT,FINISHED,GONE!!pretty horrible.

NEXT THING, the headphone cable has a mini-usb jack which I was worried about breaking as I brisk walked in and out of trains and through steps at the stations.THAT IS PRETTY SENSITIVE!

FINALLY, thumb and finger prints make it horrible to live with. Looks a mess if you dont polish it as soon as you're done using it.

So, if you drive a BMW 7 Series or a Mercedes SLK class..this mobile is well suited to you but for the typical commuting Londoner - i would not even think about having it.

I SOLD IT FOR £ 300 on Day 3. As I said, LUCKY ME!!im sure its going to be hard to sell for even £ 250 in a months' time specially after Orange have put those offers on it.

If you find this review helpful, I'm happy!

To anyone who has this phone, is the interface sluggish as people say it is in the reviews? I recently bought the LG KU990 Viewty and the touch screen is sluggish and terrible. I would like to buy this phone but only if anyone of you guys can confirm that the interface is not sluggish. I don't mind if it's a little slow, but if it's slower or as sluggish as the LG KU990 Viewty, I'm not buying it. Or should I just wait for the touch pro?

I am in to my second week with this phone and I think it is brilliant. It took me a couple of days to get use to moving away from my N95 of which I was happy with but it was becoming old!! What I like most with my Diamond is the way it interfaces with my desktop PC so simple. Recommend.
