i am planning to buy htc diamond
how is the phon... morei also unsure whether to buy it or not, coz me too have read all the bad comment on it..
but there's a solution on it..
so if u don't mind to give ur time to polish the diamond (by upgrading the rom and radio), then it's worth your money.
trust me, upgrading the rom is easy.
i've bought it, and polish it right away.
no problem on mine..
choice is yours fella.

the corner of the phone keeps chipping, on the stainlesssteel frame part. it looks like it will continue, is this happening to anyone elses, i never dropped it but it just started to chip away and its getting worse. Is there any type of way to fix this??? thanks

ill be honest, when i first got this i was very unsure about it. it crashed ALOT and was so stupidly slow it annoyed the hell out of me so i just kept using my 6300. last night i went onto xda-dev forums and flashed the ROM. now i cant stop playing with it, definately well worth the money. its all about polishing this gem up, my only problem with it is the battery life. lets just say its not brilliant.

Hi, well to start the phone is brill. got mine on the release of vodafone uk and loved it until.i felt a burning sensation on the palm of my hand and the phone over heated and fried itself. on the phone to Vodafone they advised yes they where aware of the fault and they would replace it as they sent a faulty batch

Some of us don't have time to figure out how to fix its bugs. That does not make us fools. Smartphones should be easy to use. This phone is easy to use. That is not the problem. The problem is its erratic performance and behavior. What's foolish is, why did they release this phone with so many bugs in it? Sorry, but some of us busy professionals don't have time like you do to look for upgrades. We just want a smartphone that works.

Is the ROM update only for making European models 850 MGH or can it make North American models work with 900 MGH? Please can someone tell me....THanks

i am not happy with it , battery is very poor , hardly i can use this phone for an hour . very poor diamond sucks

I just got my phone today. It was shipped from Taiwan. Upon receiving it, I thought I could change the main language to English, however I am finding incredibly hard to do so. It only lets me change the country for the phone, but that's about it. I've emailed HTC about the problem and have no heard back from them. Just wondering if anybody knows how to change the main language from Chinese to English. .. . because at this moment in time, I can't even use it! =(

u will see the rom version (firmware), radio version (gsm kinda things), etc...

coz "for me", my diamond's performance meets what it says.
