battery life is ok right now standby time is 43 hours and 10min talk time 1 hour device usage 58 minutes and the last full charge was 8th July 9:30 pm so please stop complaining about battery life

KG, 10 Jul 2009People... some folks are saying battery backup is terrible,... moreHi KG. I find the battery lasts for 12 hours max with nothing running, in sleep mode.Battery life is terrible pity because it is a good phone.Don't know if you can get a better battery for them.

People... some folks are saying battery backup is terrible, others are saying it is terrific. Can someone inform us of the battery backup quality, assuming moderate usage (15-20 mins of talking daily, some internet access and email access). Thanks.

One more question. Everytime i check my email and it stated that 'message will download next time you connect and receive e-mail'. Can i disable it so that i can receive and manage to read all the emails.

Hi..I bought this handset from htc for the first time few weeks later..And i must say that it has a pathetic battery..rest all is fine with handset..i wish if htc has added some important features with the set like of LED Flash,strong battery,3.5 mm audio jack..then it would have been a real diamond on the crown..!!!!

This is a good phone, but guys I recomand you a better phone like this, the Sony Ericsson Satio, that phone is Japanese, Japan is the most advanced in mobile phone technology!!! The Satio is the only one 12MP camera phone, if you like to take photos, choose it, you will NOT regret it! I know what I sad!

Its a software where you can modify the internal system settings,
Examples:
-Speaker sound limits
-changing call waiting tone
-Boost touchFlo3D performance
-Turn off start up animation and sound
-Adjust screen sensitivity
-Automatic keylock
-Enable audio booster without headset
and lots and lots of settings..

This is Luis again.
I want to ask, how to set the 'data connection' OFF? I want to switch it ON when i want to use it only. FIrst, i have switch it OFF and after few minutes, it will automatically ON it back. Can i know why? I want to use wifi only. I dont want my telco charge me on the data cherges.

gautham, 07 Jul 2009The phone has its own class and is awesome for its style an... more1. Don't use bluetooth, always turn off the wi-fi, do not connect to the internet, best don't make any call, don't even wake the phone up, keep it in sleep mode therefore it will last longer.
2. go for another phone.....
