VV, 15 Jun 2009Plz Plz help..... My new Diamond 2 is prone to dropping cal... moreWell I have my D2 for 2 weeks now and didn't noticed any issue, except the battery life-last 1day only with mild usage. I would try hard reset,it will erase everything from device so you'll need to reinstall all your apps, but often it sort out problems. If this doesn't help then your device is faulty and get an replacement.

Luis, 16 Jun 2009Thanks iromman. Actually i just need few things, email, ... moreWell it depends on how many texts/emails are you going to use. If a lot of sms/email then better go for Touch Pro (btw very good device, only HTC HD is better). But if you mostly read emails only then D2 would be my choice. It has a little bit waek battery, but recommended.

Touch Pro 2 is too expensive to me. Will look for diamond 2 or touch pro. Need to do more research.

Luis, 16 Jun 2009Thanks iromman. Actually i just need few things, email, ... moreDiamond 2 is better than the Touch Pro, the only features that are better in the Touch Pro are:
                      1- Keyboard
                      2- Small Size
                      3- Camera flash

Touch Pro is Similar to Diamond 1..

But if you want a phone that is better than the Diamond 2, you go for the Touch Pro 2.. Except for the Camera which is 3.2 MP..

Hi, my new HTC fails to detect a network after some time and I have to reactivate it by selecting the phone services off and on.... The original deactivation probably occurs because of reduction in strength of network strength.... but it fails to get back the network and does not automatically get back the network.... Please advise on any possible reasons for such an experience....

Ayman Hossam, 14 Jun 2009Well .. both have pros and cons. The HD is very huge and re... moreThanks for the comparison..
I think there are points that i disagree with you on..
I held both the HD and Diamond 2, You're right about the weight, but the size is nearly the same except for the HD its wider a bit, The HD is slimmer too. But bigger a bit.. the quality of the build is alot better in the HD.. THe Diamond 2 feels old, Like they built it in a hurry if you know what i mean.. But compared to other brands Diamond 2 has great quality.. The Color is better on the Diamond 2 because the screen is smaller therefore gives better quality with 480x800. But you can't be accurate when you wanna tap buttons or type like the way on the 3.8" HD screen.
The sensitivity of the screen can be controlled, if you change the registries.

The touch sensitive buttons on the HD is a zooming bar too, but it only needs a software to activate. So if you think of it, the diamond 2 added hardware buttons and the zooming bar, which took some space and made it huge and not like the previous Diamond. and if you're talking about elegance my friend.. ;) All HTCs are elegant, but the best HTC and the most beautiful phone ever built was the first Touch Diamond.. If only it was wide screen though..
