- it s very good looking device i like it alot
- i ve problem with g sensor it does not work well even after calibration but maybe there s somthing i still miss in the device

With this D2,
If you want to assign a mp3 or wma file to alarm, you'd be better change it to wav format, and copy it to the windows folder, otherwise, you won't get it.
Actually, I am a little bit disappointed with the customization, so limited!
Sound Quality - below satisfaction, but head phone quality very good A+
other than this, I think they are all ok!

I bought my HTC D2 2 week ago. I need to charge everyday.
I have 2 h/p, so I rarely use this D2
I check the usage:
Since last full charge:
Standby time: 10(h) 58(m)
Talk time: 0(h) 6(m)
Device usage: 1(h) 17(m)
As you can see, my phone and device device was 1 hour and 23 minutes only, and my battery life has gone out about 40% already.
I owned an O2 mini-s before this D2, I didn't have to charge eveyday, sometime 2 or 3 days.
I will check it out with HTC, to see if my battery encounter problem.

Hoi guys, I hv some questions to ask regarding Diamond 2, I hope someone could help me before I decided to buy this phone., since this will be my 1st HTC.
1. How fast is the response, for example when I open application or texting?
2. Is there profiles like in Nokia or Se?
3. Is there caller group?
4. Is it possible to create / personalize my own phone theme
5. Is it better to buy Diamond 2 or stick with Touch Hd?

3 days only phone calls.
2 days calls with multimedia and internet browsing (Wi-fi, 3G, GPRS......etc).

Regarding Omnia if you install (Flash) a custom Rom you'll also get plenty of phone memory and more features, but according to Omnia users they are facing allot of difficulties unlocking it, here... Hi, i was wondering how long does the battery life usually last? cause "5 hour talk time" is kind of hard to tell... im hopin for some real life experience with it

hi, i'm currently using Samsung Omnia i900, i would like to ask if the TD2 would be same like try to set contact ringtone would be fine, but when i try to get movie or photo(Bluetooth) from others it would said it is not enought space, what should i do to make the main storage bigger tht i can receive bigger file more than 10000KB..... thank you

to nightwish, thank you for the usefull information. I've always heard that iphone has the best free apps and s60 also has great apps but cost money. I bought the TD2 because of the great reviews and design (mostly). Great forum. Thanks again!!

The best thing about windows mobile is that there are a lot of tweaks you can make to the device. The best place to spice up your mobile is http://forum.xda-developers.com/and you will find loads of useful applications & tweaks. Look under Topaz section in the forum. TD2 is running windows mobile 6, but some applications that were designed for the previous windows mobile 5 can also run on windows mobile 6.
