HTC Customer Care, 12 Dec 2009Hello HTC users, for a better customer phone experience ple... moreHi, thanks for your advice.....I bought my phone a year ago and just like you mentioned charge the battery only when is empty. But what if that does not work either. I charge my phone almost every third day and disconnect as soon as is fully charge and still if I spend 5 minutes or more in my phone the back of the phone gets extremely hot it over heats. I have search for answers and found out that this phones had manufacture problems that is why they were discontinued in a very short time and were replaced by the HTC Touch Pro 2. Those of us that have the old version what can we do?

sanjeev, 13 Jan 2010I,av had touch pro for 10 months.my problem is 1.signals a... morethe signal issue may be your coverage area.

For best performance turn off all email schedule, put it all on manual.

After tried this my Fuze last long for days in stand by, with normal use 2 days at least.

I've been a complete day from 9 AM to 10 PM with the phone in my pocket and the battery only goes for 96% at the night.

Don't use palringo, it is a battery Sucker.

I have had some rather annoying issues with wifi.
For starters, the signal strength fluctuates far too often (even in the same room as the wifi box). Keyboard tends to 'freeze' most of the time when the phone's wifi setting is set to best performance.
setting it to best battery or even halfway, makes internet through wifi painfully slow.
Everything else about the phone i love.

Best phone available with a full QWERTY keyboard. Looks great, responsive, displays beautiful graphics, magnetic stylus, and good quality flash camera. I've loaded 50+ apps on my Touch Pro (AT&T Fuze) and it still runs fast. My biggest complaint is the lack of a headphone jack (you need to carry around a mini usb adapter if you want to use headphones), and the battery life isn't great, especially if you're using 3G and/or WiFi. Mine won't last a day if I'm using 3G. But I highly recommend this phone, it is just like an Iphone except Touch Pro has a QWERTY keyboard

Did yet another hard reset. Fixed my home key issue as well as the lagging problems. According to the Microsoft website, Windows Mobile 6.5 is not available for the HTC Touch Pro. Still having the annoying audio issues. Any thoughts?
                            Thanks!

I've had this phone for 10 months now through Telus. I am on my 4th unit. First two replacements were audio related and third was because cracked the screen. Here are my problems:
                              1. Speaker is really low during calls (fine while playing music)
                              2. Use my phone to listen to music in my car with adapter+aux cable. If I disconnect the adapter and plug it back in, sounds goes up by quite a bit(almost blew the speakers in my car)
                              3. Lost both my styluses.
                              4. Home key no longer works.
                              5. Phone lags incredibly when:
                              - Play video files
                              - Slide the keyboard open
                              - Type text messages
                              - ...
                              6. Phone does not ring half the time.
                              7. Sometimes when I'm typing an SMS, phone starts acting up and opens other apps.

I could keep going on. I bought this phone because of the reviews and all the hype. This phone has been a major disappointment for me. It would be an amazing phone if it wasn't for all the issues. I will try and contact HTC again. They wouldn't even hear me the first time and Telus is only willing to offer me 250$ off full price on a new phone & renewing my 3 year contract. I am furious...
