You can wake your phone up by pressing the top button on the silver lining of you phone. This device is also used to eliminate acccidently making calls to those you have just closed a call with.

How do I get my phone to wake up. After it sits for a few the backlight turns off and then I need to pull the keyboard out and what for it to switch back to vertical so I can use it. I have pushed every button nothing wakes it up until I pull the keyboard out.
BTW I prefer the vertical I do know I could use it in horizonital.
Also, when I get a call it only rings twice then goes to voicemail. I have looked everywhere in settings to adjust.
I own the Verizon version of HTC Touch Pro.

what do you mean by hacking to make the audio louder. the speaker and earpiece on this phone are not good at all. sometimes it freezes as well. can i delete some of the programs that i dont use. can anybody help me

I've just bought this XDA 02 SERRA (02's version of HTC TOUCH PRO) and I'm unable to play youtube videos. There isn't a youtube client on the menu like the GSM review states. When I access the internet and go to youtube web address, just keeps saying Windows media unable to play this file etc!!! Can anyone help and give any suggestions as I'd like to be able to watch youtube videos. Thanks.

I have my Touch Pro in the leather case that came in the package. I lock my phone by holding down the end call icon, and yet my phone will answer a call when I try sliding it out of the case.
I figure the case is sliding against the screen when I pull it out. Anyone else have this problem?

This has windows media player, does it use the windows media player by defult or do you have to open it? And how is the winmo player?

first i have this phone,it was nice for the first 2 days,eversince,i faced prob with it,the battery doesnt last for so long,eventho i kept them on the table without touching them at all,two days later am gonna send it back to the centre itself,i'm some kind of pissed with this phone ,bought them for quite expensive,but the performance doesnt satisify me .

i know this is a dumb question, but has anyone dropped their htc touch pro yet? I tend to drop my phones a lot accidentally so just wanted to know if it's durable and still works even after dropping it. how's the speaker on the phone?

we bought 4 for our company managers - we all hate them. gadgets great, features a bit convoluted and cumbersome to use, not particularly intuitive, but mostly because they keep hanging and the call quality is absolute rubbish. we put the same simms into different phones and they started to work properly again. I think HTC should have spent more money on an internal ariel that worked and a bit less on the styling !! after all it is still a phone.

no wat bro the iphone has nothin on this its better cause u can manually use it or use the touchflo plus the battery is way better then the iphone its better in quality but its doesnt get that much publicity and advertisement as the iphone thats all and u can see the rating r much better
