you may want to recall and uninstall the latest programs you installed.
If problem persist, theres always the option of hard reset. This will put back everything to factory setting and all user data/programs will be erased.
Please make sure that you back-up important data like contacts using the Sprite back-up or sync the contacts and calendars to Outlook via activesync. restore data from your back-up.

Not to be snarky, but in the specs it's listed that this has a "mini USB" port. That is incorrect. This is important when people are buying accessories or wondering if their accessories will work on the TP2.
The TP2, like many HTC phones, has a "micro USB" port. While this may not sound all that significant, it makes a big difference in the port's function, capability and performance.
A mini USB port has 5 pins. A micro USB port has 10 pins.
With 10 pins the micro USB port can perform more functions, as the G1 and TP2 do (including acting as an audio port, connector for devices, etc.)
Also, more power can be put through a micro USB port, which is handy if one is connecting more than one device to the single port.
An example of where this all could come into play is the HTC multi-function connector. It connects to the micro USB port and from it you can connect headphones, a throughput to a PC, and a charger, all at the same time.
This functionality is part of the reason HTC likes those single USB ports to do everything including audio connections. But U. S. consumers don't like the concept, they want their 3.5 mm audio port. So I suspect HTC will cave and eventually include a 3.5 mm port in their future smartphones.

thegame, 24 Jul 2009Ok, so after all the leaks of t-mobile pics and even GSMare... moreI have a little info to share. I am a G1 owner, have been for awhile. Today I put Hero on it. Wow, what a great OS. I digress.
I am in San Francisco, California. I have two phone lines. Today I called T-Mobile, my carrier, and inquired about getting the myTouch which is on preorder.
I then asked what other phones are on his list that are coming out. He looked on it and said that on August 12 the TouchPro2 is coming out.
On that news I decided to wait for it. So it is definitely debuting at that time.
Also, on the official T-Mobile Forums there is a T-Mobile employee (in the U. S.) who has been using his TP2 for about two weeks. He said he also has a G1, like me.
He said he really likes the TP2. He made some other comments too. You can read his post in the below link.
And you are right. The U. S. version of the Touch Pro 2 will NOT have the camera on the front of the phone. (Which is too bad because I have Skype on my computers and it would be cool to have videophone capability on my phone too.) I suspect they don't want to do that because it would cut into the bandwidth available.
Also, T-Mo is still in the process of rolling out 3G service in the U. S. Videophones need 3G speed. So I suspect that since a lot of people can't use that feature yet, they opted to have HTC exclude the feature. Or maybe there's security and privacy concerns. I am just guessing on why the U. S. version won't have the videophone feature.

Hope this info helps on all you wondering what's going on.
