Does t... moreHi, it's a normal GPS, like Tomtom ..etc. the only difference is that it's not comming with a free navigation program or come with a try version of for.ex. Tomtom mobile. you dont need any subscription with your serivce provider.
There are alots of programs which u can buy...

T-mobile... moreMine came yesterday....was released on the 9th of June by vodafone... although not all the advisors know about it, I spoke to one and they had no idea what the TP2 even was, but I called back after checking out the vodafone eforum and them confirming that it has been released...
it is an amzing phone, even better than my xperia X1.

Does ANyone know where i can buy the HTC Touch Pro 2 online that is unlocked, i need it from a reliable source, i do not want to splsh out money and get something messed up. Any help will be appreciated

can this phone use blackberry's service, or do i have to stick with my blackberry, would like to use this phone but the blackberry service is perfect for me.

I phoned up Vodafone and T-mobile today. UK only.
T-mobile dont have a release date as yet so they dont know when they'll have it in by. Vodafone said that they will have it in by the 22nd June UK. I spoke to them, its around ( £400-£450 ) the phone alone. Contract you'll be paying £35 month, 24 months, and 1000 minutes, unlimited texts.

I was trying to figure out how this GPS thing works. Does the GPS work like a normal GPS(Garmin, Magellan), or do you need a special service from your provider to use it.
Are there phones which dont need the service to use it(GPS)?

Release date June 12th for Sprint? Any local Sprint stores get this baby in? I must buy it immediately! (Hopefully it doesn't sell out like the pre did.)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970The 3G is on differnt bands in the USA so your sim would only use 2.5G. You could buy a US sim as I believe you can change the bands in the settings on the handset, although im not 100 percent sure.
WiFi will be fine.

Would be nice to have an Infrared port to control tv, dvd players,projectors etc. on top of the phone.
