Hey guys, check out the updated listings of phones under the t-mobile category. MDA Vario V & Compact V.
MDA Compact V looks almost like Touch HD & almost like Touch Diamond 2, but its not quite either of them.

Thanks Randy for that info, T-Mobile July 22nd although today is the 8th June, it is still some time away, but now they have released the date, and hopefully it is accurate, I can't wait to get my hands on it

ray, 05 Jun 2009i heard this is gonna be release as the tmobile wing2. Any... moreYes Touch Pro2 will be released in US as Wing2 on T-Mobile and Fortress on AT&T. Other carriers may follow as well. I'm waiting myself to get it once released on T-Mobile.

very excellent phone i hope its released for sprint i have the first touch pro and cannot wait to get my hand on it. does anyone know when it will get released for sprint!!!

Ray, I think that is true however, there are still speculations about it. Furthermore, does ANYONE know when this phone will come out in the UK on CONTRACT, either from any network provider, T-Mobile, Vodafone are waiting to release it, they are definatly selling on their site, and Orange are still testing the device if they want to sell it on their network?

Does it have Chinese input (handwriting recognition) on either the UK or Asian versions?
Also, what languages does it offer for the UK and Asian versions, as in user inbterface, not just input?

Hello guys, I just got the HTC Touch Pro2 and have to say it is a verg good phone. I just have one gripe with the phone and that's the signal bars, when on the phone the signal drops to 2 bars and once off goes back up to three or four. this also happens in a spot where i have full service. Is anyone else expereincing this?

I reseted the device to factory default and now its GPS started working fine. I'll try formatting the card with PC now. Thanks for your support..

hij, 04 Jun 2009spec of both n97 and pro2 has somewhat similar features, ev... moreWell first the N97 isn't out yet. Second at least in my country the N97's price is about 150 USD higher then the Touch Pro2 (but then again I live in Switzerland and our prices are sky high anyway).

spec of both n97 and pro2 has somewhat similar features, even n97 has pocket office....word,doc,exel,ppt,pdf etc. day by day lots of applications are coming up for s60v5 software version. price of n97 much less compared to pro2 plus 5mp camera. your commment plz. thanks

Did you run the QuickGPS application first? that will help speed up getting a signal lock. even after running quickgps getting a lock for the 1st time can take a long time. and will need to be done outdoors. as for the memory card. try backing up its contents then reformat the card with PC using a memory card reader and see if the phone can detect the card then.
