Anonymous, 05 May 2009that is completely wrong symbian os is not the best.it depe... moreof course we want a phone that do many things. i just don't agree when some people say this phone is for business, that one is multimedia, and so on.. (nothing personal). this is high end device and what's wrong to expect for the best available? you said that wm is frustating? why? and the only 'business' thing that i need is that so my phone can create word or excell document. plus it must have multimedia of 5mpix camera, vga recording, good music, wifi, 3.5mm jack, touch screen, and real, not virtual board. that's why i think n97 will be the best available. but their cpu processor & ram are worries me.. can htc touch pro2 or any other phone that will be available soon can meet those demands? please give me some useful hints. thanks.

They are multimedia phone as well office phone (doing word & excel no problem i think?), and they are symbian based, which some people say it is the best OS. how do we tackle this, please give me overall opinion. very much appreciated. As one of the viewers rightly pointed out, this phone is meant to be a business phone and not a multimedia phone. As much as the iPhone claims to be catering to business applications, it still remains largely a multimedia phone. With new features like StraightTalk which are built specially for video conferencing, HTC Pro 2 is undoubtedly a business phone tha packs a punch. I think every user should figure out what he wants and then decide on the phone to buy. But just remember, a windows OS lets you do almost eveything, which an iPhone wouldnt let you do. So if like to customise the way you use your phone, HTC Pro2 suits you!!

Why doesn't HTC make phones with flash. This really is the one of the biggest minus points in HTC phones. If they put in the flash function, no other phones can beat them. This ones a cracker of a device.

Are the colors (about 65000) upgradable in the future with windows 7 or other softwares for TP2?
(because the colors can't get higher then 65000 because of windows...is that true?)

Yes the stylus is magnetic like on the TP1
Yes HTC has had flash on their phones for a long time, I've had a few of them.
& To the Iphone people, yes there are downloadable apps everywhere..and not limited to having to pay for the limits of apple. I've been loading apps for over three years on HTC and still haven't run out of millions of options and haven't spent anything like apple charges.
And the color is better on the HTC regardless of Apple claiming more colors Weve seen them side by side.
As for the pinch, its like a cheap magic trick that HTC puts to shame - You circle anywhere on images & it zooms in directly into the very spot you wanted. and the pinch is just one more app you can download on an HTC..IF you even like it.
Honestly- everyone here should go to youtube & look at what's juuuuust around the corner for windows mobile. Its a 4min 49second long clip for Nvidia Tegra
Nvidia Tegra is the tiniest mother board running 720P w HDMI output.. leapin to Iphone is a huuuuge mistake.. You want to see the best that is and will be GO LOOK @ the NVIDIA TEGRA 4:49 demo on YouTube before you make an apple mistake
then post back here, see what u think..because it goes on windows mobile and is being released mid 2009

I have just spoken with Orange (UK) business support and the guy told me the Touch Pro 2 is coming to Orange! Currently in the testing phase.

There are many kinds of online music store to choose, so why have to rely on iTunes? Just buy, download them, and transfer it to your phone/mp3 player.
By all means iPhone is a great phone, but still it's only a phone, not something sent from heaven.
