Put a 5 Megapixels main camera on this phone, give it a 8 Megabites micro SD and it kills the competition out!

I have been using a PDA as an organiser for a while now. I used both the WM 5 and WM 6 OS. I wish now to have a smartphone, because I am sick and tied of carrying around with me a PDA and a mobile phone together. However, there is something stopping me. “Windows Mobile”! While using my PDA for a few years I have learnt a lot about Windows Mobile and I can say it has problems. I live a very busy life style and rely on technology to help me out wherever possible and why not? As an electronic organiser I expect it to notify me of my appointments, for some reason Microsoft has a lot of trouble doing this. For Example for WM 5 there was the reminders that just went to sleep on you, another words you would just not be notified, then along came WM6 and it looks like MS might of fixed this problem however there is still another problem. As with the WM 5, reminders again timed out after a few minutes, which meant if your away from the PDA while there is a reminder, you might just miss it. You will just have to remind yourself to check your PDA for reminders when you sight it again. I expect the PDA to have me on its mind all day, 24Hrs 7 Days a week, another words I don’t want to be a slave to it, it should be the other way around. It is not rocket science, so why can’t MS get it right? May be it is too hard. This is why I think MS leaves it up to third party software to sort it all out. For example, I downloaded AlarmToday, which suppose to fix a lot of these problems, however it is more trouble than what it is worth. Alarms sometimes never turned up, the device slows down and so on. MS should create its own customised alarm program, so that the user can customise its alarms. For me, this alarm problem was a bad experience, because you couldn’t even rely on the device to wake you up in the morning. If I have to outline some more of WM problems, I’ll be here all day. TouchPro looks like a nice phone, unfortunately it runs on WM, Maybe I should look at another phone that has a different OS!

I think touch pro 2 is a excellent phone but don`t work in 3g band in US and Latin America.
I have a Touch HD and don`t work too in 3g band.
Why HTC don`t make with this band in US and Latin America.............

According to this website on the news forum, this phone will be available on the T-Mobile network as the Wing II, other internet sites also say that this phone will be available on Sprint, ATT and Verizon because they already have the first generation Touch Pro.

i have a tilt and im in love of thaqt phone, the touch pro 2 i think is a better version of the tilt the only thing i dont like abuot that cellphone is the fact that the 3G network doesnt work in US... thats sad... =(

this sure looks good compared to other models
This has the keypads for regular emailers and business users, it has windows and has a comfortable memory and a pretty high processor of 512.
M sure gonna go for this a week after its launched.
I have been a HTC user from day 1.

i hope that GSMARENA will do a comparison between Nokia N97 and HTC Touch Pro 2,i will buy one of these phones in the future,but for now i will buy the nokia e71!!!:D
