hello reda zeid
"Hi guys,
The TyTN is 3G enabled. But, does anyone know if the TyTN work with 3G under GSM network? because they mention here that it's HSDPA, what is that mean? Is it mean that I can't work with 3G under GSM network, or what? Please anyone can help me in that.
Here is the answer.
TyTn works definitely with GSM network if your location has no 3G network or if both exists, you may select to choose either automatically or manually (3G or GSM).HSDPA works only on 3G network which allows a much faster download speed to you mobile (1.2Mbps -3.6Mbps). HSDPA depends on the network, not all 3G networks provide this at this time.

I've got the cingular 8525,i've had it for a month now for the first 2 weeks i loved it,but now i can't stand it,it has to many bugs,it freezes up all the time it sticks, web pages load half way then stick,i'm always having to soft reset it.I'm going to get the Eten G500+,it doesn't have 3G or WiFi,but the 3G doesn't work in the area where i live and i don't use WiFi so no big loss. It's to bad because i really love the 8525,it just has too many bugs.

pingu, the tytn does not have an FM radio. about the bluetooth stereo, the quality is really poor if you dont tweak it. I use the sony ericsson HBH-ds970 bt headset, and i downloaded HTweakerC program and tweaked the A2DP music settings to excellent, and then downloaded sleuth's a2dp fix patch (which prevents skipping) and now its all fixed. You can read all these in the thread and download the programs at xda-developers.com

Hi Vince! I think you are right when you move from P990i to HTC TyTn. It is a good buy. I had also the P990i before and then change to HTC TyTn. Of course, P990i is not bad anyway, but using QWERTY keyboard, the TyTn is more convenient. Also, I notice that TyTn works faster than P990i.

One of the best smartphone in 2006-2007. I use it with an GPS receiver and Tomtom 6. 2gb memory and the keyboard are great, but transflash card isn't as speed as I though in PC downloads process.
A built in GPS receiver with FM tuner would have been prefered but nothing is perfect...
If you need an sweet and fully smartphone get this.

This is the most useless phone I have ever used. Cannot see the screen (green) clearly if you use it outdoors. The screen dialling is much slower than than if you use a Nokia. To put in an appoinntment is so much slower than my Nokia 9300i. I have stopped using it after 6 weeks and gone back to my Nokia 9300i. I definitely do not recommend this phone.

Hi,
If the phone comes in with it's original HTC case and you insert TYTN with the screen facing out, yes, you will be able to insert USB earphones. If you insert the phone with the screen facing to your body(the way I prefer), than you won't be able to insert earphones.

Hello guys, Im a new HTC TyTN user and I will be receiving my phone on Mar 19. I am both excited and quite nervous because this is my first ever Windows Mobile phone, and non-Nokia phone. I bought this device because i need a pocket pc to install medical applications into, as im in nursing school right now.
What I have right now is the Sony Ericsson P990i, and i am using it mainly as my ipod with 4GB memory stick and the bluetooth stereo headset. And also as my main digital camera. Personally, I am multimedia person, not a business person, and i want something that will entertain me. I know i am making a HUGE compromise with my switch from P990i to the TyTN. All i hope is that the TyTN doesnt fall short in the multimedia part and the camera part. I have read tons of reviews of the TyTN and i know that the camera is of reasonable quality, i can live with this. But my main concern is the poor quality of the TyTN with bluetooth stereo headsets. There seems to be a problem with the BT stack of Microsoft. So my only hope is to use the included headset to listen to music, which bring me to my other concern about the HTC leather case: is there a hole or space on the side for the usb headset, so while the phone is in the case, the headset is still connected? Please really hope so... or else ill end up buying one on ebay. Any tips for me the new kid on the block? Id appreciate it.

I just placed my order for the HTC TyTN and ill receive it by mar 19. I have a question about the included leather case, does it have a hole or space on the side so you can insert the usb headset while the phone is in the case? Im concerned about this as ill be using this phone as my ipod and i want to have the phone in the case while the headset is connected. is this possible?

It works with 3G or GPRS (GSM 2nd tier data network). HSDPA is a much faster version of 3G data but is only available in UK on Vodafone. Orange plan to launch this year. If you are not UK based you will have to check wiht your network operator.

Hey. I have Windows Voice Command 1.6 on this phone and was wondering if there is any way to get the Bluetooth headset to activate it and for the commands to be heard through the bluetooth headset rather than the handset. Please advise if amending the registry path will work or if there is a simpler way by buying a better bluetooth headset.
