just a question about HTC, im from australia and we don not get HTC by brand except we have dopod. however australia covers gsm 900/1800 and this phone does support gsm 900/1800 this will mean this phone and phones alike will work in australia if brought from overseas right?

it is a good phone, a little bit heavy. I like Nokia but i like touchscreen too, since Nokia at the moment has no touchscreen phones, i think this is my next phone even if Nokia is easier to use (i have now n80 and i hade before Qtek s200). Someone knows when it will be in the market?

As of now we had 3 business phones having the 128Mb RAM 256Mb ROM spec: P4550, Nokia E90 and SE P1. performance wise i'm very impressed with the E90 and i find the current "P1 prototype" to be fastest UIQ ever tested. and i'm sure this one is relatively faster than a 526Mhz Windows 5.0 PDA because of the new OS :)

This is THE upgrade for all HTC users. I've been waiting impatiently ever since the first leaked news of the Kaiser's existence appeared on the web. Only thing lacking here is a VGA screen.

I hope this phone is better than Dopod 838 pro, I mean the camera, Its frustating compare to dopod D810, Where the camera is not clear and dark. I just want to upgrade if the camera is okay. and stop producing hp that is ridicolous... tq

As a happy user of HTC TYTN I can say with 100% confidence that this phone will be as good or even much better. Internal GPS is a great tool for frequent travelers and that means I will be able to say bye bye to my stand alone GPS receiver which I connect to via Bluetooth.
Would be nice to have a radio with weather stations preset. ;) Otherwise it has everything a bz man/woman could want.
Oh, I have an idea. How about an extra cover with mirror on the back of it for ladies? :)

What is the chipset of the GPS reciever in this device? Is it Qualcomm (12 Channel) or the newer more powerful SiRF Star III chipset (20 Channels)?

I know, its a great phone from HTC. But its not the "Device of the Year" material. For one it has a 65K display which is as primitive as primitive gets. Also its quite a bit on the heavy side. Never the less, It is quite a well designed and powerful machine from HTC.
