Filinawa, 02 Jul 2010Hello, I think the person flashed the phone before postin... moreHi, thanks for your reply, i tried all of that and still same prob, i cant understand how it can activesync, connect via wi-fi but cannot recive or make calls or txts? and its still sayin o2 but when i go to the connection manager it says no service the sim is fine as it works perfectly in my old handset, when i flashed it did i change the imei number the guy in the shop told me thats all flashing a handset does to remove the imei from the networks control but the handset was already built for o2 so i dont see how this would get it corrected, any advice would be greatly welcomed as i really like the phone and would like to use it asap, many thanks

I think the person flashed the phone before posting for sale on ebay, you can unlock first from here:

then flash it with this beautiful rom 6.5 from xda-developers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=619507 and choose 21907 WWE FULL MANILA 2D.

hi i got one of these recently and my sim works it picks up its an o2 sim but no signal?? i can use wifi and all other features except make or recive calls or txts??? any ideas i bought it from ebay so would flashing it and unlocking network do anything?

or go down to my previous information and click on the link for a new rom.
If you screen is damaged, then you can auction one from e-bay @ a cheap price. :)

But when the phone was with WinMo 6.1 the battery did have more long life than with 6.5. That's my point of view here.
I didn't flash the ROM on my device. Maybe the person that did it put a ROM (it's a cooked ROM from an htcspain.com user) with to many apps that run in the background and I don't use. Or maybe there's more native processes of WinMo 6.5 running in background. That's maybe HTC didn't make a release of an officially 6.5 ROM for this device.

Your battery goes down if you misuse the phone. Especially if you already know a place but your GPRS is on without using it... Also if you don't have wireless in an area and you still keep the wireless on, it will drain you phone.
Also if you play too much games and use your phone as though you where using a laptop ...it will drain like hell.
Thirdly put off your blue-tooth if you don't need it and put your phone to standby mode or reduce the brightness in the day time.
Lastly, when you sleep in the night put your phone off... your home phone can do what you want your phone to do at night..... that is, to receive calls.
Smart phone are for working on the go... that is why we have PDF reader and office 2010.It is not a computer to do everything on it.

Biggest piece of junk on the market. HTC spent millions touting this as the best thing to hit the cellular/smart phone market; now the actual product is letting their marketing dept down. My Siemens S7 of 10 years ago was a better phone. I will take a Vodafone or Motorola any day, instead. The phone takes for ages to become active, once you answer the call. Freezes about 3 x per week, on average. Camera is useless (granted though, I do not make calls with my camera, therefor do not expect to take professional photos with my phone - if you want good photos, then get a camera). HTC service is lousy.

Best phone I ever had, but it needs to be charged a lot. But there is always the possibility to charge it, so I don't really see it as a problem.

i have a phone for one yaer plz help i had it has GPS I don't know how to use it.and what steps should i take secondly what do you do if u don't want to speak to a person but reject it polite is there anything like reject a call like in sumsung i really like the phone but at the present moment its not a user friendly to me
