The life of all rechargable batteries decreases with age. Ultimately it will need to be replaced. Always amazes me how people complain about their phone's battery not holding a charge as long as it used to but don't blink an eye at buying a new car battery every few years.
Please advice me wat i do HTC need to replace battery or wud be given price on 50%.

Unfortuneately phone's of this type suck huge amounts of power, that's something I took into consideration when I bought it. I usually charge it twice a day (lunch and evening) depending on how I use it. Sucks but that still a small price to pay for what you're getting, in my opinion.

U... moreI agree with you on the fact that the battery would need replacement after some years or may be one year but dont you think 10months is too short of a time for a battery of brand new phone to give real dissapointing results. Wonder how its doing on yours, how often do you charge the battery. On mine after making 2 phone calls lasting approx 20 min each i have to thin ktwice if i can make the 3rd one. Thats how bad its life is on mine. Btw i have the HTC well ATT Tilt (US Version).

I've used it for two months and I'm sick of it and looking to replace it. I think Win 6 is great and connectivity tools work seamlessly but that's about it. Earlier reviews are correct that it's a great laptop replacement but I carry my laptop travelling anway. My big gripe is that it isn't very usable as a phone,(the main use) the touch screen isn't a patch on my son's iphone and it isn't practical to have the slider open while in a call (no good for "press 1 for x" etc)Its poor in weak signal locations (inside buildings / shops). It's to big to carry in jean pockets etc. Give it a miss unless you're an enthusiast and lok out for mine on ebay. Come back my old imate SP5 or smartflip. I'm going for a benQE72 I think.

The phone is great, its basically like a mini laptop where u can use word, excel, powerpoint etc. It's strong and durable, however its quite heavy and as it gets older it needs to be charged more frequently, that basically the main downfall. Otherwise its a great phone

In http://forum.xda-developers.com/ there's a tip for baterry power improvement.
Restart ur phone(WM) in safemode, and let it be on in safemode till the whole baterry drains out, and after the phone shutsoff auto, restart it in normal mode. Now ur phone baterry will be as gud as new.
