I see that people are talking about some video driver here. A lot of movement is going on the internet for this phone to develop a video driver to make use of the unused ATI chipset in the phone (Imageon). What driver are people talking about here? and can someone please mention the exact version numbers for their operating system, radio, and the driver? Thanks..

            Mods:

I posted I a link where one could download a video driver for this phone but I see that post has been removed. Why?

I have owned the US version tilt for 11 months. It was a very good unit until it just stopped working. I got the "red light of death". I sent it to HTC for warranty work and they said the motherboard is bad and I needed to pay close to $400.00. When I asked about the warranty they said because I didn't have a receipt from an AT&T store the warranty started when it was made. I told them I had a receipt but they would not accept my paypal receipt. It's kind of ridiculous that they will not honor the warranty. AT&T started selling the unit Oct. 4th, 2007. I could not have owned the unit longer than the warranty. I have heard that the motherboard go bad on this unit. I would stay away from this model. Sad to say because I really liked it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just got rid of the TyTH ii - got my self a NOKIA E71 just geting used to no " back to old school" no more taping at my fingertips - but the phone works better.
The HTC cost me RM2500+ = USD $720.00
Sold it for less half the price at the phone shop about RM1000.00 about $290.00 the E71 cost RM1600 about$460.00. Well it the end of a good & bad thing - for those that is thinking of geting the HTC pls ask aroung first don't just bust out your Visa & charge it - u might end up like me.
