I just dow load this software called iContacts... it gives u the feeling of using iPhone when u browse ur phonebook. U can scroll ur phonebook up & down by sliding ur thumb on ur screen... it has made browsing my phonebook easier while driving.

If you use Google Maps, you do need internet. Not for positioning, but for streaming te maps from Google.

My phone usually gets hot when It is on charge or when I use it alot it gets really hot, is this happening to you guys too?!!!!

hello everyone!!, i need your help please!!,i have been using my tytn 11 without any problem, until today, i just tryed my WIFI service and my device cannot connect to my wifi service anymore, my laptop connect without stress, i hope this not as a result that my fell on the ground today although its was in the case and notting was wrong with it was working fine, and this evening when i tried to connect it to my tom-tom gps for bluetooth service the screen changes from what it use to be, i mean the background colour and light, please can someone please help on how to solve this problem, and another problem is that when i take a call or make one the screen go blank and i cant see anything until after the call, please i need ur help please, i need the internet (wifi) seriously

Still, drivers for this device HTC did not include in wm6.1 update, so this devices video performance is worst than a 2 years old pocketpc. Check out this site http://htcclassaction.org/
IF I HAD NEW THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS DEVICE I DONT THINK I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT.

does anyone who have this phone knows how the gps sistem work's?
do you have to connect to internet to use it or you just download some maps and add to the phone? if it is just to download, where do you do it?

In my humble opinion the TyTN II is awesome.It's been the best phone on the market since it came out, and it looks like HTC will continue to lead the way with the Diamond,Raphael and Xperia X1(HTC with SE )Going for alternatives to HTC will mean second best for a while to come.

Yes but be sure to read the comments at xda developers before upgrading.It seems the official TyTN II wm6.1 ROM is not good.The custom wm6.1 ROMS are far better

just to add..the camera can be improved(again look at the kaiser forum at xda-developers.com)My TyTN II takes excellent snaps on a sunny day however in low light the camera's not so good.

I've got to say the submission below is not accurate .Reception on the kaiser is better than my k800 and n80.Do you guys have a branded unit?You could try flashing a different radio (go to xda-developers.com).Regarding phone lock ups,the trick with wm devices is to increase the file cache system,also at the end of web browsing or email always disconnect data connections.I suggest you install kaisertweak,learn how wm works and appreciate the TyTN II.
