Nothing wrong with kaisers preformance. If you must use 'stock' firmware then Increase the ROM buffer but better still install a custom ROM.

Sue, it looks as if you are a real TyTN II aficionado! If you get the chance compare and contrast it to the i-mate Ultimate 9502. This phone has been out a couple of weeks and is receiving rave reviews.

I Hate this phone & am back using my old Imate PDA 2K. Its much faster, has a longer battery life. is easier to use. Do not buy this phone if you are used to performance. You will only become frustrated.

I'm confused between TyTN II and i-mate 9502, TyTN has video and camera problems, while 9502 has general good feedbacks, my only concern is customer service if I got unlucky... opinions are highly appreciated =)

                    hi,

i would like to customize my message tone to a short mp3.

I live in KSA, i have TYTN II and I'm using AL JAWAL network and I have GPRS, EDGE, 3G on my device, I'm using Blackberry connect as well. The only thing so far i didn't like in this phone is: if I'm calling someone who is already on a phone canversation, it doesn't show me "waiting" or any notice i can know that the phone I'm calling is busy with other phone call like all other phones

                                  Friends,
I've been proud of my TYTN II for the last thre months that I've owned it... until recently though.

Last week, my WiFi connection stopped getting activated/swictedh on. Howsoever, I may try, it would not get activated, leave alone discover the network.

I tried re-flashing it, soft-resetting, hard-resetting, I mean practically everything I could, but to no avail.

Has anyone faced this problem before, and found a solution to the same. Would appreciate if you could share the same with me. I really do not want to take it for servicing, as I fear it would take me easily a week to get it back if I take it to the Workshop.

                                  Thanks in advance,
                                  Atul
