Mc, 17 Jul 2011Why won't my tytn 2 work properly overseas. I have one boug... moreI had a same problem. I had settings added to my phone by the service provider overseas and it started to work fine. Every phone has settings for a specific area for example a phone built for Asia Pacific would have problem in Europe. Although I bought mine from Australia but still had problem in Hong Kong and Thailand but when settings were updated, it worked fine. Guess it's on of HTC's early inventions which had some bugs in it.

why the battery not lasting and is always hot.

Why won't my tytn 2 work properly overseas. I have one bought in australia and it works fine but when I travel it will not hold service on other networks , it will old service for a few seconds and then dropout, I have international roaming activated with carrier. Any suggestions.

I have this phone and it's very slow(CPU).Is there any program that overclock it but no damage on CPU???

Hi all. I found an HTC tytn ii for real cheap, its unlocked but Ive been getting mixed results trying to figure out if itll work on the Bell network. Will it? ive look at other Bell HTC n they say "Compatible with the HSPA network UMTS/HSPA 850/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 " Soooo does that mean the tytn ii will work too? the bell guy told me that only the CDMA will work... but that was for a blackberry, iunno if its different for htc. Please help, i really want this phone!!!! Thank you EVERYONE for ANY and ALL help/information!

I inherited the tytn 2 from my brother.
It had WM 6.1 dutch language and after a year he was compalining that the phone hang and was unstable.
Finally he gave it to me. I changed the rom to 6.1 english (pirated) and it was a disaster: slow response time hanging and other stuff. I didn`t use it after that for about 4 months. Finaly I`ve decided to give it another chance or i`ll get rid of it.
Than found a WM 6.5 english rom. I installed it. And the Tytn 2 go back to life. It`s stable no more hangs, faster, longer battery life, better memory manegement, and better applications and embeded google maps which with the inbuilt gps works like a charm.
Just do a youtube search on: htc tytn 2 (kaiser) untaped potential and see for yourself.(it`s not my phone I upgraded based on that video)
Now i love My tytn 2 !!!
