Wi-Fi consumes a lot of power that's why it disconnects when pda goes into standby mode.Two options Power through ac or use a registry edit.You can find the edit to keep wi-fi alive here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1676739#post1676739

I have an issue with my TyTN II Kaiser. When I'm in the office I'd like to have the phone to logoff from 3G connection and use WiFi for ActiveSync and other applications' traffic. But as soon as the TyTN II enters in low power, standby, mode (either after the timeout or pushing the Standby button) the WiFi interface is switched off. And as soon as the phone comes out from the standby mode the WiFi connection goes up again.
It's an issue of my phone or every TyTN II has this behaviour?

Happened to many people you say?Hmmm HTC and operators records show the kaiser to be the most reliable PPC to date.

Yes, same thing happened with me.
I got my TyTN II back yesterday and everything seems fine. All I know is that they replaced the main board on the phone.
It's also affected a lot of other people as well

I have this phone for one month, and i love it, but before few days my phone is DEAD. Just DEAD. I try to turn it on, but i couldn`t. I try everything, but nothing helps me. I return to the shop where i buy (in Macedonia) and they tell me that is something with the board !?!? And now i must to wait to see if they will repair. Now i`m very disapointed of TYTN II

WWE-World Wide English.Go to the kaiser section at xda-developers.com for information on flashing etc.Their's also a interesting thread concerning the driver problems http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=339745 ..I've owned many pda's and the kaiser knocks spots off them but yes the chipset is capable of more

Don't Buy this phone or any other with Qualcomm MSMXXXX HTC has refused to develope proper drivers for the graphic processor built in which causes this phone to run at a substandard rate much lower than much older phones.

Reading the manual would be a good start!Soft reset-push tip of stylus in the hole just above and to the right of the usb/charger port.Hard reset-hold both soft keys and push stylus in the reset hole.

Back cover is moving while yusing a phone,sms alert play until the end no meter if you allready reed msg ,gps is very slow considering phone has a-gps,stand by option shoud work diffrent and many many more other things can be better (like contacts-try to select all contacts and move them

Hi, I hope someone can help me:
1. My tytn 2 only partially syncs with my notebook(EP media OS)It connects well but after a sync only some of my contacts appear on the pda
2. Leaf locate software is not to cleaver. It does not locate my global position and the roads are short but ignores faster alternatives on highways.
