sharper, non OLED display and bulk (tall device, weight) on the HTC 11 in exchange for larger battery and stereo speakers VS
less sharp (pentile) OLED display that is super compact and light, at the expense of speakers, battery (although it is still very good) and stereo speakers.
I like both, but 188g is a bit heavy for me, even though I love big battery and stereo speakers. I will have to compare the hand feel. I really loved the V30 at the IFA, the HTC 11+ has everything but remains a very tall and quite heavy device (similar to Note 8).

HTC is best with sound. They even got a dac in the usb-c to 3.5jack converter.
And the boom sound on HTC U11+ use the hole internal of the phone as a sub chamber..
so yeas this phone will be best on sound quality on phone and on headphone.
the converter is even good to use if you got big headphones you use on your laptop you can use the dac converter and get realy good sound with lots of good quality music

chony, 16 Nov 2017overall, both will be great devices when they will be relea... morei'm owner of the htc 10 too and i love this phone :) for me audio quality is very important and i think which one is better htc or lg. LGs quad dac or HTCs boomsound with u sonic earbuds :)

But I would choose u11 + for its built quality (LG not so great sometimes-but V30 will be much better than previous versions), battery life and the a little bit lighter version for android. I own HTC 10 and trust me, its perfomance is phenomenal ;)

Yet ... moreyour not very smart if you think the higher the MP the better camera - they are all running on Ultra Pixels on phones now, that is why all these high spec phones have such little number on MP, it picks up better detailing and focus, especially when zooming in.

So a flagship phone costing more with a 12mp main cam. Yet the htc desire 10 pro has a 20mp cam and is cheaper. Every year phones stay the same. Very small changes in specs prices up and down mostly up. Nothing changes. What if you bought an S6 and kept it until 2021. Would it still work yes. Would it still take photos yes. Would it still be a phone yeap. We fall for it each year.

As soon as I saw the specs I knew it wouldn't come to the US because that's what HTC does--only sells overpriced phones that no one wants in the US. Anything you might want--big screen, big battery, too bad for you. How does this company stay in business?

Using my HTC One M8 since Sep 2014 (3+ years) and still its image quality is better then many recent other brands. I am still able to use it for up to 1 full day without recharge (browsing, youtube and moderate app usage, no games though). Still going strong (at least for me).
I tried HTC U11 in a store few weeks ago and it was amazing. Fast & slick. U11+ should be even better. I might go for HTC U11+ (once I check it in store and how it feels) after 20-Nov release.

Dearest knowledge enthusiasts.This is the ultimate tries of HTC to go to beautiful contests of beauties amongst all quality maker brands.I wish much more success for the HTC.But with HTC's more efforts in installing audio Jack,no ugliest hybrid,adding IR blaster,radios+rds,and reducing the price logically,it would have been the best of HTC's after HTC one and HTC 10 .Nevertheless losing quality maker HTC is a tragedy for many,however Google the king has stepped up to give hands to HTC!Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar believes in giving constructive recommendations to all brands as the moral guidelines beliefs...as gsmArena does.Good luck all.Thanks....
