Oreo has ruined my phone, battery life used to be brilliant, now it drains a lot faster, phone freezes occasionally and the multitasking button isnt working!!!!!

This could... moreI drop my U11 twice without protect case (I hate case), and I am lucky ... nothing happen! however even glass broken I can easy buy cheap parts from taobao then replace it myself. (That's the reason I don't use case)

AnonD-731886, 09 Feb 2018Does anyone have Back button problems? Mine freezes almost ... moreHave you ever drop your phone on a hard surface? This could have transfer the energy from the impact internally causing the connector ribbon for back key to partially dislodge.
This happened to me with the digitizer when my phone fell hard on tile. I had a case on & tempered glass screen protector but that did not stop force transfer.. The screen would show fine but be none responsive to touch from time to time. But would work OK with a mouse on a USB OTG adaptor.
Took it to a local repair store and they disconnected the ribbon and reseated it and everything went pack to normal.
Run the hardware diagnostics from the htc help app. If it's not working in there it's not a software proplem and you have to get the cable properly reconnected or a part will have to be changed.

This was the best phine I have ever bought, camera, battery, screen quality, 3D sound recording, cat16 internet, sweety edge function, and many others incredible features that may the other brands have in the next two years if they do their best!

I have never been disappointed in htc products, i bought the u11 yesterday and that phone is an amazing..
I have used samsung, Sony and LG but to be honest I've never found a phone as good and fluid as htc products.. and not to forget the htc m8 which i had was still the best phone I've used in the past.
I don't know why people prefer samsung although they offer good phones but in my opinion htc Is the way to go
If you're looking for a premium phone.
Note: don't buy the low end gadgets from HTC, buy the flagships and you will be pleased.

Does anyone have Back button problems? Mine freezes almost everytime I use it. 2 months old.Then suddenly responds. It become more and more frequent as days pass by at first Only some times now Everytime I use. Really frustated . HTC India closed almost all it's service centers and only one servicecenter per state. Time packup.
Even after Oreo Update it was freezing.

The case that comes with the phone is ridiculous. In 1 week the super fragile screen was broken without even falling. Just a little bump while in my pocket and r.i.p. Screen. And no replacement anywhere... But ok it was still usable. What I use most on my phones is the GPS. Well, when it worked, after 5min trying to lock, it lost signal every 2min, a big pain in the *SS. Back glass also fragile, broke after a small 50cm fall. The speed was no improvement from my Xperia z2, and it lags a lot. Lack of audio jack is also a pain. Battery ok but could be much better. The camera is great though.

Im on contract with this phone last week after only owning it for 5 months while it was on charge and getting extremly hot my screen went brown and i lost my screen and any ability to do anything with it ...and only making noises for some things i couldn't even recieve phone calls. :(

Today I saw this phone in a retail shop and I had a hands on experience. I just have one word: wow. The phone looks exquisit. Formidible build quality and the screen edges just flush in the metal trim with the liquid glass back doing the same. What a beautiful phone to see in real and to hold.

Overall a super device..phone of the yr 2017.Got Oreo update yday & the phone feels even more faster now with slight improvement in battery life.
It's superfast,doesn't heat up,charges fully in 90 mins & it easily lasts a day with heavy usage.The camera is outstanding even in low light.The usonic earphones r best in class.Its a stunning looking device.I m.using a spigen cover as I m scared of dropping it.If given a chance I would buy this phone again.

Finally receive my Oreo in Malaysia. Thank you so much HTC even though its almost 3 months later than the States which I'm still bitter about it but well nothing beats rocking Oreo feeling like a new phone now.
