Anonymous, 02 Nov 2017who agrees w/ me that new htc phone looks like under $100 phones? Not at all, the HTC U11 feels and looks like a very expensive ve phone which it also is. The design and especially the back is like no other phone. You can instantly recognize the U11 out of a thousand because of it’s unique design.

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2017me. U11 is very ugly.Is sad when you have to agree with your self as the only form of validation. When you going to answer your self change device/network. Or we will all see your ID is the same.
How pathetic. SMH Anonymous aka UD{0

I love my U11 and so does my wife. Very stable phones. Don't heat up like her HTC Bolt.

Thanks Anthony & Grey for your opinions.

Read on the net from professionals that best is charging btw 40-60%, leave it once per month to 0%. There's a technical explanation for it, can search net for it like doing it like that to keep the battery in moderate working cycle not low or high when charged.
There's also that view of not letting it always reach 100% but some 90-95%.

Volimpicku, 30 Oct 2017Last good HTC M8, after nothing, HTC need close. I have had the HTC one m7,m8,m9,HTC 10 and now the U11 and I admit the m8 was a truly excellent smartphone and it will always have a special place in my heart.

But the HTC u11 is one of the best smartphones they have made and I am very much looking forward to the HTC u11 plus to be fair.

AnonD-702525, 30 Oct 2017Briefly, at what % best to charge. And you meant must not l... moreWe all have our own rules when charging our phone but for me I do the following.

1,I put my phone on charge at 20% and I unplug it at 90% and I never let it go till it turns off at 0%
2,I never use fast charge with my U11 I use the charging brick from my G4 which isn't a fast charging plug because I think fast charging will ruin the battery faster long term.
3,At night I have my U11 on a timing plug which turns off the power after 2 hours so when I wake my U11 is usually at 98%
4,If I need to top my phone up during the day I use a charging brick which doesn't support fast charge also but my U11 usually lasts a full day with heavy use.

That's what I personally do myself but each to there own I say but do whatever feels best to you.

And you meant must not l... morebasically, to maximize the lifespan of your battery if you are the kind of person that keeps a phone for years (and this applies to any modern cell phone, not just HTC) you should try to practice the following.
                          1. try not to charge frequently. This means keep your phone on battery power as much as you can and avoid doing shot charges when you can. The less amount of times you connect/disconnect to the charger the better.
                          2. quick charge 3.0 works from 0-80% so the closer you are to 0% and change to 80% / 90% that will be the best way to do it.
                          3. leave charging to 100% for when you know, you will be away from an outlet (e.g. outdoors) for a long time and you know, you will need that extra juice.

leaving your phone charging overnight is not doing your battery any favors.
one's I have enuff power for my phone to make it overnight sitting idle, I plug it in as soon as I get up and by the time I'm ready to leave the house, I'm normally in the 90s

quick charge don't even work for the last 20%
so technically, when you plug in at 70% you only getting 10% use of quick charge 3.
most tech reviewers say not charging to 100% cuts down on wear & tear on the battery.
Also, a battery only has so many charge cycles before it stops holding a charge. so stop charging your phone when you don't need to. you are waisting charge cycles.

I'm mainly charging my HTC U11 btw 50-70% and once per month from 0% for longer lasting battery life .

This is a great move by HTC which will allow us to get better updates quickly, and will avoid duplicate apps which will help the mobile to run smoothly.

Anyways you have google Photos app to view all your multimedia contents. just switch to album tab at the bottom and you can view all your photos and videos.
