If you think you can use it without the 3.5jack, then go ahead.

Seriously idk what people wants...90% people won't use Samsung Edge feature....just it looks good so they accept it.
Now HTC launched something unique...squeeze feature....which may makes people life easier in day to day life...and phone looks pretty cool.
It has world's best camera, best audio sound.
Best Android skin...never lags...but some people still hating it.
They launched this product win latest specs in 649$ which sounds good.
But people still hating it.
If same thing Samsung or apple launched...people gonna love it.
Why people why...atleast respect there things.
The worked so hard to bring this phone.
Samsung launched shitty s8.. which has nothing new.
But people still love that shit...what I can say its just bad luck for HTC people only liking shitty things by Samsung.
And I am pretty sure...people gonna like this concept soon.
HTC I am impressed with u and u launched it at reasonable price.

I dnt know or care what people says...evem if it had 3.5 mm jack peoples would have find another draw back or flaw...u go for bad things and u wll find it...
As of now when i did read the hands on they seems impressed..and by reading the features it looks very promising.... Improved camera, waterproofing (people were crying for it.. Now they got it) , loud sound, new audio technology, and i ll be honest ...i didnt like u ultra initially...
Bcoz i remembered htc 10 s sturdiness....but whem i saw it in live video i changed my.opinion....
And now with this u11 i m actually started to loving it....
Whatever, it looks quite beautiful really....it took some time for me to like it...but its really beautiful....
Last thing to do... i hope they price it well ...

Snapdragon 835! SNAPDRAGON 835 and Bluetooth v4.2 and no hevc or H.265 (x265) in default video player when I don't want 3rd party video player! Add glassy back panel! I guess t f/1.7 is wow thing in Unfortunate 11

Would have been an okay design last year. Screen to body ratio is horrible for this year's flagship. Laughably small battery again. Same 12mp but smaller pixels, meaning they've gone with a smaller sensor than last year. Glass back, very thick and small battery, you'd figure they can squeeze wireless charging in there.
I am an HTC fanboy that doesn't use HTC as a daily driver. I do own M7, M8, M9 and 10. Nothing announced this year remotely speaks to me. Ah well, I have a ton of non HTC phones to play with, and don't need to upgrade.

i must praise htc for the best camera and superb sound, however phone is still lacking behind in design. its bigger than last year model s7 edge and also smaller battery and a step lower for waterproof.

I hope the next mobile with a wireless charger only .. no usb port at all (we can link it to pc through internet only) .. no 3.5mm jack bluetooth headset only ... built in battery .. no SD card and the phone will be with 256 GB storage

Very good that have dual sim model!!!! And micro sd slot separate! But bateery still 3000mah? Look huawei p10 model 5.1" 3200+mah 7mm metal unibody , p10 plus 5.5" 7mm 3700mah. Think will be good than S8 battery life..
