I don't k... moreCould you please post a review of the u12 plus and say how you get on with the buttons and there sensitivity and also how the phones screen is in bright sunlight and can you see it ok and just your overall thoughts on the phone.
I have a u11 plus which is a excellent phone but I admit the screen brightness in direct bright sunlight is not the best at all but I do manage with it but I admit my G6 is much much better than my U11 plus.

I owned several HTC phones and the quality is of high standards. Therefore this U12+ is a very good choice. Besides, no notch.

Do you care about battery? Because the endurance rating on the HTC 12+ is sh**. And in my research, the endurance rating and battery tests on YouTube seems to reflect each other. So I trust the endurance rating.

HTC U12+ OR Sony Xperia XZ2?
Need some help, I used an HTC M9 (Loved it) then got a Z5 (I love Sony's UI)
I'm in the middle, opinions would be much appreciated!

It's still a shame that most reviews are still saying how bad the volume buttons are and the inconsistently of the edge sense double tap thing to which can activate on its own and I hope that the software update which is supposedly coming soon will correct these problems.
People still seem to be ordering the phone though so that's good.

Waste of money. Way better phones available for the money, after I owned the HTC 10 I won't be getting another HTC phone..

I don't know whose bright idea of cutting the battery capacity from the U11+'s 3930mAh (73h Endurance rating) to the U12+'s 3500mAh (64h Endurance rating)?
Probably to save a mm & a few Pence.
If the phone had made up for it with efficiency measures then it wouldn't be a problem.

Battery life matters & an 'Endurance rating' of 64h is a fail for a flagship in 2018.
(64h based on 1hr a day of phone Calls, 1hr of web browsing & 1hr of Video playback).
Using this 1h of each, phone makers should be striving towards a 100h endurance rating.
I set my own parameters @ Calls=1.5h, Web=4h & Video=1hr; giving me 31h (& I doubt long enough once the battery is past it's peak).

Don't believe numbers on websites. I has S8+, I do have HTC U11 an OnePlus 5t. I can even say U11 or 5t will be better on battery life. More like 5t because of lower display resolution. I'm not comparing s9+ because it has more battery size and much lower time when you use it. I sold it and happy.:)
