Have had this for 3 years bought brand new direct from HTC. Had HTC One and wanted to buy something not too expensive. Working fine 12 months then phone would randomly just switch itself off. Not great especially as I have an elderly mother that does not live me with and being able to get hold of me is crucial. Emailed HTC and they reckoned it was one of the apps. Truth is, its nothing to do with the apps, I got rid of any apps that did not come with the phone and it still switched off randomly. Thing is I cannot afford to change phones so I have just been using it. Got the 64gb internal memory, had bought an extra memory card but that too become corrupted in the phone. As soon as I can afford it, this phone will go in the bin and I am going to get Samsung. A series Samsung are great (I have an A12 for my work)- and its cheaper in price and a better product.

I have been using this phone for some months now but now I had with the wifi, I can't on it for the pass four weeks now don't know what to do or should I just dump the phone there?!.

I've been using this phone for two years now. It is great, fast, and all that. Main problem with this phone is that you don't have screen protector and mask for it anywhere near you area, you have to purchase it online. And even when you do purchase it online, the screen of this phone is slightly edgy and the screen protector doesn't apply on it very well. It detaches a bit on the sides.

I've been using HTC U12 Life for about 2 years now. The phone has been great the whole time. The battery life is still acceptable and the build is nice. Its camera isn't one of the bests, but it captures outstanding shots. I've been a very satisfied user of the phone.

I've been using this phone for a year now. I use it for messaging, calls, taking pictures, and browsing the net while I stand in line. The battery for me lasts for 3-4 days. I'm perfectly satisfied with this phone, it produsced no faults, not even a restart since day one. My last phone was a HTC Desire 820, that's still working and it is being used. I never bothered with screen protectors, and dropped my phones a bunch of times, and neither's LCD broke. I'm just amazed by the build quality and durability. I hope HTC will be around in 4 years, when I'll need to change the U12 life.

htc u12 life junk phone , in first month loudspeaker stoped working , i cant find parts any where , only vibration tells if someone calling u , so bad choice of this model,

This phone is pure junk. Save your money. I have treated it like gold and less than one year of ownership has resulted in the speakerphone no longer working, the volume of the phone is dying (at the highest level it sounds like it's on the lowest level), and the phone freezes up all the time. It was a decently priced phone, but these three things make it un-usable and I'll be going back to purchasing a samsung again.

Pro:
- Good body structure, look solid
- Quality of the screen is good
- Battery life is good and rapid charging features (10 to 100% charging approx. 1 hour)
- Decent performance, thanks to SD636
- Speaker sound is loud
- Selfie camera with flash
Cons:
- Rear camera is average, especially taking low light photo (below average)
- Average finger print sensor detection
- Lack of gesture features
- HTC Sense UI is average

One of the best in midranges class.there are no more better phones with this price.every part works great from display to cpu/gpu and very good battery support for one day heavy duty.

One of the best mid-rangers out there! Good screen with perfect auto brightness, nice cameras -especially the front with led- , more than a day battery life with heavy usage, excellent wi-fi signal strength and loud speakers even if they're not boomsound. This smartphone must have a big and complete review.

Gsmarena doesn't write review and will not! this is samsung/apple and chinesse arena and just advertising those brands....
To tell you the truth(after 4weeks buying ) u12life:
Very good design + quality and seat in the hand so good.
Sound quality is great in both speaker and heaphone.
Battery is ready for heavy usage for one day(not very heavy usage and needs pluged in)
Camera is very very good in day light and is average in inddoor shots / selfie is good too especially in day light.
Htc sense ui is still the best ui in android.
Screen is good in dayvlight and sunshine if not turn on power saver.if turn on power saver the sreen is not very clear. And led screeens are better.
Not very different accessory and case.
All things are great and good but screen is average and needs htc turn to amoled/oled.
