HTC lost its way due to greed and they trusted the market too much! We all know the rest, the same thing that happened to Nokia and Blackberry at the time

But that was thirteen years ago. I bought one just after the release and none of my peers had an Android phone at that time. HTC started being synonymous with Android at the beginning. And then they lost it to Samsung and Sony due to poor market strategy and sales network here in India. Chinese Kung-fu hurt it so bad in the last half a decade that it lost all the market shares. Still cherish a soft corner for that brand.

I'd like to buy this U23 but I certainly dont want to be left without support for it
I luv me hTC One M9 even though it doesnt cut the mustard anymore (wont upgrade its Android OS past version 7). So I wrote a query about their new V22 to them & they told me they just dont market their new phones in Europe anymore (Why the hell not?!?) So for me hTC will be a by-word for fly-by-night abandonment of its customers (like in Europe for one instance) forever more! ://

Nothing in the design stands out. It's a mid-ranger without stand out features.
