Anonymous, 13 May 2023Not sure if 7 Gen 1 is a wise choice, but at least I'm... moreYeah, without the 4k60 capability it went from possibly being a great phone to a mediocre one. Hopefully it at least supports 1440p60 video recording.

Jacek, 12 May 2023I'm a great fan of HTC phones. I owned One X, M9 and U... moreI think they are on the right direction. Have a look at their phones from like 2020, and tell me did they have anything better than this overall? Did they have one with the 7 series SD CPU? Did they have a quad camera setup? They probably are testing the waters with an upper mid-range phone, and maybe by next year if they succeed with this they will bring a flagship.

Anonymous, 12 May 2023Really? They had to choose 7 gen 1? Why not use 7+ gen 2??Probably cuz xiaomi reserved the entire stock. Or this is just another example of "don't give everything at once" thing

Oh god please don't use 7g1! It's inferior to even the 778G in efficiency and you get the absolute lottery of Samsung's 4nm fabrication.

Welcome back HTC. I remember when I used a Windows handheld device by Qtek now called HTC. HTC also boost windows phone popularity by polishing phone layout UI. HTC the first company which launched first Android phone. A series of successful phone, top line and mid-range, company was once a threat to it's rivals like Samsung, Sony, Huwaei, but alass they sold it's mobile phone business and tech to google.(not HtC logo) .

Anonymous, 13 May 2023non sense...u talk non sense....Really, i need to explain something that simple? A weak battery needs to be charged more frequently, so you make more charging/discharging cycles in shorter period. If i charge my phone every 3 days, for example, then the battery will be like new for at least 3 years, which will be 365 cycles. If i charge it every day or even twice a day...well, it won't even last 2 years without offering even worse autonomy then it offered in the beginning.
So no sane person buys a phone with small battery and/or power hungry SoC (Like Snapdragon 8 gen 1, for example, which gave mediocre battery life even with a 6000mah battery).
