Would be nice if the 7+ gen 3 was used, but SD card slot and 3.5mm jack is a gift presented on a silver platter for a higher being. I wonder why 4600mah battery for a phone that's 6.8in long though.
Everything else about this phone is good, it's like a phone that's frozen in 2019 that suddenly came to the future. However the curved screen must go, like please stop it.

Speaking of which, wonder where all the USB 2.0 folks have disappeared to. Time was where comments section on all new phones were full of those people mocking lack of USB 3 lol.
If not for the curved screen and the somewhat lower battery capacity in this age, this phone would be an automatic buy.

The HTC folks do provide this info in the specs on their site, and I do not have much trust in the quality of YouTube reviews (except those done by Chris from TechTablets).

Lol, 14 Aug 2024In fact it is almost identical to the old Mi Note 10, a copy... Wat? That phone is completely different, it has a flat screen and smaller camera area.
Anyway, this phone would be amazing if it properly supported US networks. I'm getting 9 hours SOT on average, and have had 0 issues with performance.
On the cell side, I still can't connect to n77 or n41, and I think the phone is not using carrier aggregation.
So it's like using a cell phone with 2013 network connectivity, but with 2024 hardware.
