U ultra is good phone not great comparing to same range phones.touch, sound,moderm speed is good.but display is fill with faded colours.size is too much for 5'7 inch mobile.too much for pocket.some apps ara laging dual core is not even enough to manage syatem apps.there is no gallery.no 3'5 jack.sometimes internal memory not respond to pc.(i7 ,16GB ram).so my opinion is thil twice before buy this.if you looking for beauty then go for it otherwise don't.

        Could some one try writing an email the the HTC MAIL app & let me know if it crashes as soon as you click on the body of the email to start typing?
        I need to know if I installed something that screwed up the mail app or if everyone is having the same problem now.

              Actually I'm new to HTC , I'm going to buy this 4n I heard everybody saying that u ultra is good , but how about its batter life ? After updating to Oreo will batter drain fast ? How to check mobile religion , can somebody help me with these questions ?

                Htc u ultra 128gb and still no update. Piece of crap. Never buying a htc again.

                  Taha, 13 Mar 2018hi DKS am also in UAE but no any updates in my htc U Ultra yesSorry took this long to reply I hope you got your update by now if not I have got my Oreo update 12 days back i live in Sharjah my phone running smoothly and battery life improved that's the important thing for me hopefully Oreo 8.1 .1 might bright more improvements

                    So how is the update? Any change?

                      from a long time Samsung user, over all very good phone for $305 , battery last for a long time make sure your phone made in Singapore is not bladed with app , fast charging 2 hour max from 10 to 100% for the price it is a excellent deal never got warm or hot on me.

                            AnonD-738274, 11 Mar 2018You just trying help me then no matter.i open the boot lo... moreI don't know the region of your model but using mine as an example (USA model) I can download the latest ROM from HTC USA. and then reflash the phone from a PC by putting it in "download mode", connecting it via the USB cable and using the sync software for the drivers.
                            If you know the correct HTC sight to go for your phone model/reagion, maybe you can download the ROM and do the same.

                                      HTC U Ultra is the worst phone in the world.
                                      - Touch screen is very sensitive and does not handle clicks as expected.
                                      - very small battery capacity.
                                      - Very hard to control it because of the huge screen size.
                                      - Stucks tooo much.
                                      - Problem with cameras.
                                      It is the worst phone ever made till now.
