if there was a zerolemon battery case for this phone I would slap it on, no questions asked.
I would take the extra bulk in exchange for having to plug in less. the 3000mAh is not horrible but 4000mAh or a battery case would be nicer.

In daily use you will not find any difference any difference. Everyone wants a big battery except you. Nobody wants to charge their phones every now and then. Unless if have dash charge. Brands are size conscious and for that reason they keep the thickness slimmer and use low capacity battery.

AnonD-646774, 19 Oct 2017HTC phones ..ughh...thick bezels ...only 3000 mah battery..... moreAnd what makes u say 3000mAh isn't enough? It is using a SNAPDRAGON 821 which is still a efficient chipset built on a 14nm process, u are still gonna get good battery life no matter what. Don't u see why most newer smartphones are decreasing the battery capacity? I wonder why some people like u complain about the battery capacity, like why??? Are u guys who complain about the battery capacity some kind of heavy battery user? If this is the case then I will say "Sorry dude, there are no high-end flagships suitable for u, or even mid-end flagships since battery capacities these days are around this smartphone capacity range." I think u shouldn't even get a smartphone, because the very low-end smartphones even though they have mostly bigger battery capacities, the chipset given are efficient ones, so if u use it for very usage, it is still going to run out of battery fast. Have some common sense before complaining about the battery capacity

Anth0ny, 19 Oct 2017You are are entitled to you opinion. My opinion is based o... moreYes, I was watching a lot of reviews comparing U Ultra and U11. U11 is pretty good, but I think U Ultra is a bit better especially in low light. Right now I'm planning to buy a new phone and I'm considering the following: HTC U Ultra, U11, Galaxy S8+, Moto Z2 Play(unlikely).
I'm leaning towards U Ultra because it's the cheapest and has the best camera with the biggest sensor out of all those models. The rest of them has 1/2.55" sensor (probably IMX362 or IMX333), while U Ultra has IMX378, same as Google Pixel 1, but with OIS. Pixel 2 went to the same IMX362 sensor like the rest of the flagships. Moto Z2 Play lacks OIS, but they have some interesting moto mods (Hasselblad True Zoom is not one of them). Also I almost always carry Canon G9X II with me, so the phone camera is not that important anymore, but still. Waiting for Black Friday to catch some deal. Right now I can buy U Ultra for around $300.

HTC phones ..ughh...thick bezels ...only 3000 mah battery... time has come for HTC to go for full vision display and big batteries.

yugi, 19 Oct 2017And it's not "almost".You are are entitled to you opinion.
My opinion is based on how poor HTC cameras use to be back in the days of the HD2, ONE, M8. HTC was never known for great cameras.
                  That changed with the 10.
and in my opinion the U Ultra is much better than the 10. You can look at the comparison video link I left In a earlier post.
And after looking at J. Williams blind camera test that had both the ULTRA & U11 in it....
That's why I think it's "almost" the same.
What's your reason for saying they are not?

And the camera quality is almost the same on the HTC U ULTRA.
Or the same to the untrained eye.

scorpio, 10 Oct 2017Hi AnthOny it's really quite amusing to see that what suits... moreIf I was buying Samsung I was going with the note 8
Because of it's size & the pen. If it could write and save on PDFs that would be very useful to me.
What I'm afraid of with Samsung phones, is it's reputation of starting to lag after six months of ownership. So I couldn't even think about the note 8 till 2018 "after the hype" reviews come out.
As for UI, HTC wins hands down. And with the "maker pro" theme designer on the HTC themes web page. Making a custom theme down to a granular level is so easy and can't be matched by any other OEM to date. These days it's hard to find a bad phone that cost more than $400US. so you have to make your choice based on the little things that better suit you.
