HTC U Ultra receiving a firmware update
HTC has started pushing out a new update to its U Ultra smartphone. Arriving as version 1.62.708.1, it's an update that - according to the official change log - only brings along some system enhancements.

However, given the size of the update (nearly 600MB), it's reasonable to expect that some other changes are included as well.

I have a Vodafone network unlocked htc u ultra and still haven't received the update 😐 Htc need to focus on providing more regularly updates to help improve the phones potential and do faster updating for unlocking devices. Otherwise I love ❤️ my Htc...

The Android security patch level is now May 1st 2017. This is the 2nd OTA update for this phone that has updated the security.

It is a very good phone. Interestingly if a a well known blogger had not said "waste of space", no-one would say that.
