I totally agree with the problem of messaging that you are facing. I have felt the same too.. But it's not only about this phone.. It's a problem with android generally.. Even if you try some of the high end phones, like Motorola Atrix you'll find a bit of a lag in the messaging.. Try deleting a 50 message conversation and it can take ages to delete.. Android has messed up the messaging department.. Just for your convenience in case you face the deleting issue also there are apps which delete the messages pretty fast.. so i'm sure it's a software issue.. Just imagine, Nokia makes phones which 300-400 MHz processors and messaging works brilliantly on them.. It's just plain text, how much of processing power can it require..
