I bought the wildfire in 2010 December. I had big epectations from the home, only to be shattered!!!!
I want to begin with the time it takes for upload of apps!!! It is a slow phone. The 528 mhz processor does not augur well in this Internet and app crazy environment.
Not to mention how the touch interface stops operating often on receipt of a call. I will not be able to answer and will have to wait till the call gets over to be able to operate the touch interface again and call back.
When u run 4-5 apps one after the other, the whole system will hang up, and the only way to get the phone working again is to take the battery out and put it back in again!!
It hangs periodically - atleast once every week. HTC Seriously trashed all my expectations from a good phone Company. No More HTC for me. Samsung Galaxy here I come!!!!

hiya all i love my wildfire.it doesnt state it has a wifi hot spot built in.well it has.as long as yorve got internet credit on yor phone you can run your laptop from it.its great it only costs me 5pound a month on the 3network

To Annonymous: Yes you can set your music as a ringtone. you can also make ringtones with the wildfire. you have to open "Music" open the menu once you select a song you want and go from there. you can click on "set as ringtone" or you can create a ringtone. I love it but I'm getting the HTC Incredible 2 for now until we have 4g in my area then I'm upgrading to either an iPhone or the HTC Thunderbold. Good luck with your phone, enjoy

The different around USD $65 in my country compare to Samsung Ace. The battery as your read in other comments for this phone also not really good. And if phone slow how it to be fast for internet?
At first I also thought to buy this phone to save some budget. After try my thought has been clear and might go minimum 800mhz processor phone. Music for both phone not that loud, from earphone definatelly awesome for most phone.

Tested and compare with Samsung Ace this HTC wildfire lot more slower. If want a smoother phone may go for Samsung Ace and the price not far away.

I am dissapointed with the display quality on this phone. The resolution is way too bad and you cannot read text on websites without zooming in.
I bought this after using samsung omniapro and I am cursing myself again and again for selling the omniapro. However it was a lot more expensive than this one.
The only reason to be happy about is I like the Android 2.2..

truly speakin..if u hav money always go 4 HTC's..coz its d best but and if its 4 12..its a jackpot..
d best fon after I-PHONES..loved it..usin it 4rm d past 6 months..amazin features..one prob wid d display..but its prety ok..i wud suggest go for wildfire S dats a betr deal..ritin it 4rm my own exp.
