HTC wildfire has got hot-spot WIFI router option in it, which we can configure and distribute the inet connection to other wifi devices....its not specified in the specification of Wildfire

I purchased the Wildfire in October 2011. It has been an excellent phone. But yesterday, suddenly the dispaly went off. I mean i can hear the phone ringing, but nothing appears on screen. the phone is also switching on, coz i can hear the distinct turned-on sound. What could be the problem? Any idea? I stay in Mumbai.

lucy, 28 Feb 2011hello same has happened to ha ha, and cannot find the digit... morefound out how to put the weather and digital clock back again. press + bottom of home page, go into widgets, press on the anolouge clock, then press right you will have options, then select the sun and digital clock one.

Hey people ! Using this phone for the past 7 weeks :)
I should say , I discover something new everyday . Have the experience of using a symbian smart phone , But android pwns ! :D
I would recommend this phone to anyone trying out a smart phone for the first time , This is affordable - and has the bang for the buck .
As for the other comments , about the front camera and sh#t - HTC phones don't support front camera :/
The phone is a bit slow after every reboot , That's only for a few secs , After that its up and running .
The games are a drag , and capturing videos ain't great . But its not bad . not bad at all .
The LED flash comes in quite handy .
The phone has HTC sense , I tell you , No other phone ever comes to match the touch features provided by HTC . These guys manufacture the best touch devices , and are far better than samsung and nokia .(I also tried out galaxy 3 , and wave. wave sucks with apps , and galaxy 3 isn't good the only difference is the processor , Wildfire can be clocked ;))
The resolution is a bit of trouble , You can't play all the videos , have to convert . But you won't notice the resolution with the zillion features this phone brings you :)
My verdict : Go for it !

I have been using wildfire 4 a month now n here r some things i hate abt it .
1) Low resolution.( its ok once u get used to it n u wont notice it much )
2) poor perfomance of processor ( can be overclocked to 728 mhz after rooting )
3) does not support any good games out of the box . u hav 2 root n overclock 4 playing good games .
4) the camera is not good 4 a 5mp camera.
5) the worst thing that hav hapnd 2 me is dat the new htc froyo update cannot be rooted. that means u hav to put up wid d low perfomance processor till someone finds a way to root it.
